@MGecko117 People should probably read (not watch) Starship Troopers and maybe a few other classics before doing military sci fi, although I actually think lacking a proper military knowledge base will cause more problems than a lack of a sci fi knowledge base.

@SCShipyards Star Destroyer vs Enterprise is an interesting matchup, because the shields on the SD might stop the transporter, and it’s hard to compare their respective technobabble, but TIE fighters would not be a factor.

@Josh54129602 Indeed. We jump in games in a lot of places where in real life we might take a high step or climb, but it feels okay because we aren’t being impeded by something we should be able to easily overcome.

@BenAntilles @DannyVegito I agree. Jumping in video games spawned because it was an easy way to fix that problem. I don’t jump a lot but if I need to reach something high I climb on a chair. Can’t do that in a game that doesn’t let you jump.

Hey so Poe says this because the message they received from their spy doesn't say how Palpatine returned. All they know is that he is back. This is a line of dialogue from the character's pov. The film provides tons of visual exposition for us to gather HOW Palpatine returned 👍
