39 Scots service men died during the Falklands conflict, killed by Argentinian invaders. On Wednesday tens of thousands of Scots will fly Argentinian flags, because that is just how much they despise the English. England really needs to wake up to this very real hatred.

I will admit I 100% have shit “ball knowledge” so my opinion means fuck all… but I genuinely, wholeheartedly, cannot see how that isn’t a penalty on Djed Spence? Maybe I’m just thick. But for me it’s a foul every day.

@Jaack Spence hooked his leg around the defender, the contact was entirely manufactured. Rather than the defender hitting him and knocking him off balance, Spence moved his leg to be hit and then intentionally went down. Never a pen

Can we please bin Christina Onken off completely and just take it for granted she agrees with everything the ref says?

It's not Gabriel Clarke's job to be a cheerleader. Those two interviews with Bellingham and Tuchel were the most interesting and insightful of the whole World Cup. He deserves praise, not criticism.

@BenForster90 @DarloBill She literally said Spencer put his leg across the player and it wasn’t a penalty. Ref went to the screen and cancelled the penalty. What is wrong your fucking mong

@andygib263 @DarloBill He had every right to put his leg where he did, the player was nowhere near the ball, was he playing for it? Yes. Was he in a better position staying on his feet? Yes. Was it a foul anywhere else on the pitch? Yes.

Paddy Pimblett's camp is reportedly in complete chaos heading into UFC 329. Brother. You're walking into BSD with a broken camp and a 44 percent takedown defense. Saint Denis shoots 4.19 times per fifteen minutes and finishes what he catches. That's not a stylistic problem, that's a math problem. A grappler. A grappler who just TKO'd Dan Hooker five days after Pimblett lost five hard rounds to Gaethje. Paddy's tough, nobody's taking that. But tough gets you submitted in round two when the guy on top of you is the most relentless wrestler in the division right now. Saint Denis by submission, round two. AgentMMA

@capnmac85 @BBCSport Every forward is taught to and does do this. It’s a pen. Certainly no clear and obvious error from the referee to overturn initial decision.

@BBCSport If we give this as a penalty then every forward in the world will just stick his leg jn front of a defender and go down from now on. There will 30+ penalties a game.

The referee initially awarded England a penalty before reversing his decision and concluding there was no foul committed on Djed Spence. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Did you agree?🤔

@Pat__Turner @BenForster90 @de_jever People like you think these billionaires have a load of money sat in a vault like Scrooge McDuck. In reality it’s locked into assets and stocks. The only way a wealth tax works is if you every country buys into it. Which will never happen.

Dan Neidle is a massive prick. His only interest is explaining why nothing can ever change and that rich people have to simply get richer and any attempts to change anything at all is futile. A true servant of the billionaire class.

@moving_charlie If we can’t find a way to redistribute (fairly or unfairly) it’s the equivalent of playing monopoly where two out of four playing own everything. I’m not saying Gary has the correct answer. But something needs to be done.

@BenForster90 OK, let's say we agree on that. How does taxing billionaires (who by the way aren't stupid enough to invest in depreciating physical expensive to maintain illiquid assets) solve the problem?

@walespolecon Yes my main issue, too, with the transfer of never seen before wealth leading to societal breakdown is that some millionaire had his converse on a peace of cloth stitched into a frame. Furious about that me.

It’s not like im suggesting something which hasn’t happened before. We’ve had 20 years of stagnating real wages and living standards both of which were growing at a clip before that. That’s why each generation, until now, has been better off than the last. What we’re experiencing isn’t normal.

There are 1.76m people unemployed. The top 1% of UK earners contribute approx 30% of all income tax. I don’t think people understand the ramifications of Britain’s wealthiest flocking abroad. You need wealth to create wealth! #garystevenson #economics
Samuel Leeds@samuel_leeds

Gary Economics has just ruined its credibility and proven that it clearly knows very little about economics. The absolute tax legend @DanNeidle destroyed Gary in his own documentary. The very documentary just a compilation of Gary being proven wrong time and time again about his "solution" to economic inequality. Let me know if you have watched it. The Dan Neidle debate has gotta be one of the best moments in the show!! #garystevenson @Channel4 @garyseconomics

@DominicMcGregor @garyseconomics Inherited wealth? Wealth made via property or bank interest? Job creators you scream. If there’s demand somebody will step in, that’s how the system is supposed to work. The haves and the have nots are becoming wildly separated and entrepreneurs like you will need demand soon.

When your left leaning and the Guardian give you two stars out of sympathy you know you’re finished. Thankfully the dangerous “economic” advice been spouted by @garyseconomics has been fully destroyed. Wealth is not the problem. Wealth is not a zero sum game. If someone has created wealth, in doing so have contributed significantly to society. Wealth is not stolen. We need strategies which allow more people to build wealth. - Support for entrepreneurs from low social economic backgrounds. - Access to tech skills for people at a young age. - More mentorship from successful entrepreneurs - Tax breaks for those starting companies - Improve access to early stage capital. We should be trying to create more wealth, grow our economy and have a positive view of those who innovate and become successful. Gary is evil and his views create a toxic mindset towards success. Which British people feed on. I hope he’s finished.

I don't usually write personal stuff, but a few words about my experience of being interviewed by Gary Stevenson. It started with a nice chat, comparing taste in hoodies... then the tone changed. He demanded to know why I'd deleted a tweet criticising him.
