@cjhhhh21 @MarcSDuffy Is that so. Can't possibly have a different opinion. For me he has 1 more season. The fact we have overachieved the last 3 years is why they stick by him. We get trigger happy we are no better off than under Hall and Shepherd and will achieve nothing of note.

@maxbscott The England team has nothing to do with meritocracy? It doesn't exist as a reward for PL form. It is its own team, with its own shape/style/patterns of play etc. I may disagree with some choices but you can see what he wants. Otherwise we'd have a wildly different 11 each time.

Forget about Phil Foden and Cole Palmer.. they’ve been miles off it.. Morgan Gibbs White not being picked is a travesty. No other English player in the Premier League has scored more goals He’s one of two English players nominated for PL players of the season. That decision flies in the face of meritocracy. He’s worked so hard to reach this level, he’s carried Forest on his back to premier league survival. A sad day for one of the nicest, most hard-working players you’ll see in the game.

The goal has nothing to do with Lewis Hall being right back. It’s about a desire to defend your goal & block the shot. He gets close enough to do that. I love Hall, he’s had an excellent season, but too many goals of late have involved him. It’s why he was taken out of the side.
