If I am being honest. I regret moving to Puerto Rico. It’s been awesome financially, because I’ve made over $3,000,000+ YTD so far, 0% tax, but… nothing beats being with family & friends. Down there, don’t know many ppl, and not gonna out my way to. I know so many ppl… but there all in the states. I be bored out of my mind in PR😂 Anyways, if you ever plan on moving, remember that your happiness comes first. That being said, I fly back in 2 days. See y’all there.

@borekbruhh Germany on €50k: ~14.8% tax + ~21.9% social = ~36.7%. Not 52%. And the US is literally the only country with citizenship-based taxation. Trading an EU passport for a Georgian one, really? Just move to Cyprus or Bulgaria.

Los gringos, después de acostarse con las mujeres de Lima, las califican como feas en sus clasificaciones. Es triste que algunas mujeres peruanas tengan complejos de inferioridad que las lleven a acostarse con esos hombres.

Elizabeth Warren cogently asked Hegseth about market manipulation - inferring that war-related media announcements have been contrived and timed to move markets profitably for insiders, WHICH THEY HAVE BEEN, and Hegseth dodged the question entirely, shamelessly, and poorly.

Not true. I was just there, and although the fruit was ok, the vegetables were subpar (if you could get them), the meat not tender, and the overall flavor just not good. American Italian is much tastier, and overall, American food is far more delicious and accessible. Europe, meh.

As an American who lives in Italy now, I feel I can speak on this topic. Is the food quality different in Italy versus the US? Yes, wildly different. I’ve noticed it in pretty much everything. The fruit and vegetables taste stronger and sweeter. Yes, zucchini, broccoli, potatoes and cauliflower have a sweetness that I never knew about. Meat tastes “meatier,” and carbs never ever bog me down. In the U.S. I’d eat a serving of pasta, or bread and feel like I was bloated or needed a nap. Here, I eat pasta, or pizza or bread and I feel nothing out of the ordinary. The eggs have a totally different consistency. They’re very “creamy.” Even the American Cheese here is so wildly different. It’s so creamy that it sticks to the wrapper, it’s a mess trying to get it out. Clearly, they don’t use the stabilizers we do in the U.S. Another difference is the salt and sugar levels in processed foods. Nothing, not even the cookies and cakes are too sweet. It took me a while to get used to the Heinz ketchup here, because it’s nowhere near as sweet as the U.S. product. And crunchy snacks are not overly salted. The wine here is on another level. Even the “cheap stuff” is really good. You rarely, if ever will wake up with a headache, even if you’ve over indulged. The olive oil here has this peppery almost slightly spicy finish to it. It’s so good, unlike anything in the U.S. and another thing I noticed, I haven’t eaten “greasy” food since I’ve been here. And yes, I order fried and batter-dipped foods, but nothing ever feels heavy or greasy and I can’t figure out why. Aside from the taste of food, my overall feeling is healthier. I know part of that is because I’m much more active, walking so much. But I honestly can’t recall the last time I felt “bloated” - that feeling hasn’t happened here, but in the U.S. I had that “bloat” feeling all the time. Also, I had a lot of stomach issues in the U.S. I remember always having heartburn or a churning stomach and chewing on TUMS. So much so, that I actually brought a huge container of them with me when I moved here. Oddly enough, I haven’t had one single tablet in almost 2 years. Don’t get me wrong, I think so much of the food in the US is amazing. I love recreating US-style food here for my international friends. Im proud of my American food culture. I just think we’ve been screwed over by weird seed splicing, creepy fillers and stabilizers, artificial junk, and dyes, among many other unhealthy things.

This interesting post is going viral, tackling a crucial topic: How much healthier food in Italy can be compared to food in the US 🇺🇸 The author even goes as far as addressing RFK Jr. directly What do you think? Either way… just one more reason to come visit us in Italy 🇮🇹🍝

Great post @ThyLordMatthew and it's very sad. I'm sorry for what your friend is going through. So many are suffering the same fate. Here is a Whatsapp with a friend a few weeks ago. Many people have 2 or some 3 jobs to make it. The struggle is real. What you said about people getting depressed, alcoholics, getting into prostitution are true. It's all very sad. And the worst thing is people that have no empathy for these people or pretend like the majority now are struggling.

Was talking to a local here in Buenos Aires. 🇦🇷 He claims it’s the worst quality of life that’s ever existed in his and his father’s lifetime. Wages are down, living costs are up. He’s working two jobs, Uber driver and in a hospital. On the side, he’s studying to be a pilot. He can’t afford to go out or enjoy life, so he’s put all that on hold until some brighter future. Said that the women don’t care about your personality, they care what you can provide. It’s all about money for them. We can see that with the Argentina casting. Bear in mind he’s a young, good-looking dude. But how could he possibly go on a date when it would be 50k pesos or more? Most people aren’t as disciplined or ambitious as him. Many, as he said, have slid into other means. Drinking, alcoholism, depression, gambling, prostitution. That much even I can see. @BuySellBA , claimed Argentina XP is blowing up. I can see from the streets myself that: Only old people are walking around. Young people aren’t afforded leisure here. They’re priced out and have to either work harder or sell themselves. The only time you see young people is at night. And in most of those situations they’re not even drinking. I went to a club here recently and 80% of the girls didn’t have a drink in hand. Plus those girls are often paid to be there. To talk to the people with money, get them spending, then dip out. Situation’s bleak for the locals.
