I‘m more than happy to see this paper after more than 10 years finally out in print in the @RevEconStudies . We address an old question on the link between unemployment insurance and unemployment dynamics. Thanks to @kuhnmo @makro_philip for the great collaboration!

Noch einmal #Elterngeld: a) wenn man es als Anreiz für gleichere Aufteilung der Care Arbeit sieht, dann müsste man statt 12+2 Monate auf z.B. jeweils bis zu 7 oder 8 Monate umstellen. Häufig sind 2 "Vätermonate" nur langer Familienurlaub. Würde vermutlich Kosten reduzieren. 1/

Kudos to Brussels officials: I've had three meetings with EU bigwigs this week and their offices were *freezing*. I don't mean a bit cold, I mean people-wearing-scarves-in-the-office cold. Thermostats jammed well below 20 degrees.

A long thread after a long night: That was tough weekend with many constructive discussions over the commision‘s proposal for the #gas_cost_break. Given the objectives set by the government, I think we have reached a very good proposal in the #GasKommission.
