@TruthHurtsNow_0 @r3tarddownunder @LyrebirdDream Canberra lol not very woke. Needs more woke, should be Ngunnawal country.
English

@r3tarddownunder @LyrebirdDream @LyrebirdDream W⚓️ still on that hunger strike or are you just eating bugs now?

English

Listen to this retard.
Try telling this to the truckers & farmers @LyrebirdDream you absolute wanker.
English

@Bart05275751 @interesting_aIl Agree, grok says its coal, looks nothing like coal.
English

@interesting_aIl I see green. Could it be a Copper (Cu) mine? Also wonder how much earth in Kg that scoop is scooping out? finally, once this becomes totally automated, I wonder if they can work around the clock?
English

@FirstSquawk @parrapower2022 Means Australia is selling it too cheaply
English

@memechaotic Atleast if he saved the kids the wife would stop nagging him.
English

@pr0ud_americans I got to see one of these as a kid rip through my local railway station, awesome experience. What was probably even better again was watching shinkansens rip though every 6 mins at 250+ kmh, 2 hours outside of tokyo. The precision is just amazing.
English

Check this out.😎
The legendary Flying Scotsman casually outpacing a modern local train.
Built in the 1920s with those massive 6’8” driving wheels, she was the first steam loco to officially hit 100 mph back in 1934 — and she made it look easy.
Still an absolute icon at 75 mph today.
Pure British rail heritage. 🚂💨
English

@tinka133 @k_mahlburg The former uniparty Cory is in the upper house, 8 more years on the taxpayers coin. Who is the leader in the lower house, where legislation actually matters?
English

@easymmmkay Thatll get him about 100km. Kind of pointless, run out again at some point and need to fill up somewhere at even higher cost. Makes sense if travelling huge distance where there is no fuel available.
English

@Next_holiday123 @goodfoodgal You obviously don't know how to search and read.
English

@goodfoodgal ON had the perfect opportunity to release detailed policies around the SA election, they didn't because they don't have any. It was such a missed opportunity. They'll do the same at Farrier and then Victoria. It won't take long for people to wake up.
English

Why is the Liberal Party in Australia gone?
1. They pandered to people that were never going to vote for them.
2. Whilst pandering to those with the woke mind virus - they alienated the common sense, hard working, tax paying, law abiding conservatives who are sick of watching Australia lurch from one crisis to the next.
3. They did not listen to ANYONE trying to tell them this. Now it is too late.
One Nation is simply an inevitability.
English

@AussieBotStudio There is ways around these silly prices. Got till end of may to get a battery under bozzo bowen battery give away, roi in 2 years as your power costs will be similar to what the chinese pay, maybe even lower.
English

🚨 AUSSIES, WE’RE GETTING ABSOLUTELY ROOTED ON POWER PRICES! ⚡
Latest 2026 numbers (GlobalPrices Q4 2025 / World Population Review):
- 🇦🇺 Australia: 0.256 USD per kWh
- 🇨🇳 China: 0.077 USD → we pay 3.3× more
- 🇷🇺 Russia: 0.07 USD → we pay 3.7× more
- 🇺🇸 USA: 0.18 USD → we pay 1.4× more
Mate, they’ve got coal, gas, hydro, nukes… we’ve got solar, wind, and the biggest network charges on the planet.
Victoria’s handing out 3 free midday hours from Oct 2026 like it’s a win… but the rest of the day we’re still paying through the nose while the rest of the world laughs.
Time to ask: why the fuck are we paying First-World prices for Third-World reliability?
Jacinta Allan@JacintaAllanMP
We're launching the Midday Power Saver. Three hours of free power in the middle of the day for Victorian households.
English

@Macbeth4183781 @Matt_Camenzuli You still need oil and gas if you like it or not, even with everything electrified would still need them.
English

@Matt_Camenzuli LOL
The problem isn't oil
The problem is we are a decade behind on transitioning to renewables and electrification.
The current mess was entirely caused by people calling themselves conservatives.
English

Just out of curiosity, why doesn’t Volkswagen ever post its founder’s picture?

Disclose.tv@disclosetv
JUST IN - Germany's Volkswagen will reach an agreement with the Israeli "Iron Dome" manufacturer to switch from the automotive business to the missile defense business — FT
English

@BLackgold_5 Emirates if you want to travel in style and comfort. Qantas if you don't want to die.
English

@rl_keith @pocketspore421 @JakeLandauTO Why? Work hard get rewarded. It is equal opportunity. Would you rather it don't work get rewarded but you need to be of certain racial make up.
English

@pocketspore421 @JakeLandauTO The "wealth for toil" part is an arrant lie.
English

As a Canadian it's funny that Australia and New Zealand still haven't managed to come up with original flags for themselves, how are you still stuck on a British Ensign in the year 2026?
Ten Years Ago Today@tenyearsnow
New Zealanders vote to retain the current flag over the proposed design in the nation's flag referendum. More than 2 million people vote in the referendum.
English

@negativevortex_ @TaxPawspective @AvidCommentator The new tax base is even children of parents or immigration. The left prefers to fund the future tax base with mass immigration, roi so far on that looks poor. Europe has put together costs for funding specific migrant nationalities and it is staggering numbers.
English

@TaxPawspective @AvidCommentator Ok, before i can get to that.....what problem is it attempting to solve? Thus far I've had 4 different interpretations (please don't conjure a 5th)
I do concede 'winning votes' is a legitimate response, albeit not a good one.
Please let me know

@diggerinflex @WazzaGc @KatieGrace2022 Were exactly is singapore getting oil from if 70% came from middle east and straight of hormuz. There is going to be limited refined output.
English

@WazzaGc @KatieGrace2022 Incorrect.
There has been limited disruption.
Vessels are still on their way as usual.
English

@mpeard @EVCurveFuturist In australia deals are different depending on provider, wildly different. There are one's were 3 hours for free during the day or ones where you pay wholesale rate which can be negative during the day. The export, FIT as we call it is also wildly different. Could be $15kwh.
English

@EVCurveFuturist Madness in the UK to charge using solar when you can sell the export at 15p per kWh and charge at 7p (and soon to be 5p).
English

I’m charging our Tesla Model Y 100% on sunshine while still running the house & home office. That’s the shift people still underestimate. EVs aren’t just cleaner cars—they plug into a whole different energy system. Generate locally. Use directly. Skip the servo. #Bettrification

English

@grok @FirstSquawk So 62% is sourced from locked down sources that have said no deliveries for april. How is this going to work without massive price increases.
English

Singapore imports crude oil (no domestic production) mainly as a refining hub:
- UAE (~28%)
- US (~26%)
- Qatar (~11%)
- Saudi Arabia (~8%)
- Brazil (~6%)
(2024 data, latest full year). It then exports refined products like diesel/LNG regionally. Recent fuel oil imports also include Russia/UAE.
