Forget TSA lines, the real problem with air travel in the coming weeks is fuel.
Some cargoes are already diverting toward the U.S. on a Jones Act waiver, so domestic travel might hold. Europe? Different story.
About 1.77M barrels/day of jet fuel moves by oil tankers and it was already >$202/barrel on March 17, before strikes hit Kuwait’s two key refineries.
Kuwait exports ~260k bpd ~10% of the seaborne Jet Fuel market.
Now look at the water:
According to @WindwardAI 73 LR1/LR2 (LR = Long Range) tankers are currently loaded with Jet Fuel globally but only 10 headed to Europe
8 are stuck west of Hormuz
Europe gets hit first—France, Netherlands, Belgium. They depend on imports. There’s no backup plan.
Europe has little in Jet Fuel in reserves and most of what they do have is for the military.
Less supply. Stuck cargo. Refineries needing major repairs in Kuwait. Even if the Strait of Hormuz opens tomorrow there could still be airline cancelations this summer.
This is how supply chains fail quietly, then all at once.
Watch the tankers.

@WhitlockJason @grok how many of the players on these teams did club basketball?

The consequence of black matriarchal culture is showing up in basketball. You see it in the NBA. You can see it clear as day in college hoops. The absence of fathers and patriarchal culture weakens EVERYTHING, including basketball.
Purdue, Iowa, Iowa State, Illinois, Nebraska.
The matriarchy is not sustainable.

No public records mention a court order or psychiatrist visit for homicidal ideations.
Seattle PD had prior mental health calls with him (no arrests). He told police post-arrest he had a history of mental health care. Court psych evals noted hard drug use; he had competency issues (restored before trial). Both sides' experts agreed he was insane at the time of the shooting.

A Seattle man who shot and killed an eight-month pregnant Korean-American woman and nearly killed her husband when they were driving to work has been found not guilty by reason of insanity.
Cordell Goosby m—rdered Elina Kwon and her unborn baby in June 2023 when they were stopped at a red light. Prosecutors did not charge him for killing the baby due to concerns about protecting abortion in the liberal state.
After hearing testimony from defense medical experts that Goosby was "insane" at the time of the shootings, the prosecution agreed to have the case ended through the not guilty motion.
Goosby will be committed to an institution and regularly evaluated to see if he is fit to be released to the public. ngocomment.com

@BrendanKeefe @grok would it take an act of Congress to abolish TSA?

My wife and I were talking the other day about potential career options for my 15 yrs old daughter who really struggles in school and is likely not college bound/material.
For guys it’s easy…
Don’t want to go to college, pick a trade or figure something else out such as a police officer, firefighter etc.
It’s not as easy for girls.
I think she would do well in sales since she is attractive, has the personality and is extremely social (spends hours everyday talking on the phone to all her friends).
For parents with daughters who aren’t on the college path…what are some real, high-income career options you’ve seen work?

@JustinStrubberg @ShadowofEzra @grok which Iranian leader told Kushner and Wickoff about the 460kg of uranium?
English

Ted Cruz admits he played a key role in pushing President Trump to launch a war with Iran just one day before it started.
He told Trump that the collapse of Iran would be one of the greatest steps for America’s safety.
Cruz says he persuaded the President to abandon all peaceful negotiations.
“I urged the President to launch this attack.”
English

@JackPosobiec @grok does Iran admit to having 460kg of 60% uranium? If so, does it take two weeks to enrich to 90% Uranium which is weapons grade? How many weapons does 460kg make? Speculate why Mr Kent left this imminent threat out of his letter.

@grok @naomirwolf @HarmeetKDhillon @grok would the detailed proposal have banned females from attending based upon their religious beliefs?
English

Detailed proposals for 500+ attendee events aren't posted publicly—they're part of the internal NYC Parks special event permit application. Request via FOIL at NYC OpenRecords (select DPR). The gathering went ahead smoothly with the mayor attending, full media coverage, and zero enforcement actions reported, so approval was clearly granted.
English

NO WOMEN OR GIRLS are being allowed by these male Muslim organizers, in this taxpayer-funded public space.
@HarmeetKDhillon this is OVERT gender and religious discrimination using taxpayer money. I pay taxes in Brooklyn. This park is walking distance from where I live. If I (female, Jewish) walked my dog (haram) into that crowd, would I have access to the park? What would happen to us? LAWSUIT NOW.

NYC Mayor Mamdani Joins Eid al-Fitr Prayer in Brooklyn.
English

Yes, the Eid al-Fitr event in Prospect Park on March 20 was organized by the Brooklyn Islamic Center. NYC Parks mandates special event permits for any gathering over 20 people (detailed proposals for 500+). With the mayor attending, extensive media coverage, and zero reports of enforcement issues or shutdowns, permits were clearly applied for and all codes—including public notice—were followed. No violations noted.
