This is a welcome development that the “PANORMITIS” vessel, which is illegally transporting grain from Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories, will not be unloading in Israel.
This demonstrates that Ukraine’s legal and diplomatic actions have been effective.
This is also a clear signal to all other vessels, captains, operators, insurers, and governments: do not buy stolen Ukrainian grain. Do not become part of this crime.
We continue to track this particular vessel and warn everyone against any operations with it.
We will also continue to ramp up international sanctions measures against Russia’s shadow grain fleet.

The vessel is suspected of carrying a grain cargo that was illegally transported from a closed port in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine in violation of international law and Ukrainian legislation. It also highlights a contrast in approach—Ukraine does not tend to hide problems, even its own. The world is often informed quickly because transparency is seen as important. When issues are hidden, they tend to grow.

Getting off a nearly 14 hour flight to see everyone upset with one another over alleged Ukrainian grain being illegally offloaded in Israel.
Two things are true:
1.) Ukraine hasn’t been a good friend to Israel in the international arena; and,
2.) This is shameful if true by Israel and is not above condemnation or critique.
Israel and Ukraine should solve this by doing the following:
1.) Preventing Ukrainian stolen goods from being transited through Israel; and,
2.) Be better partners, together, in the international arena and stop voting for nonsense that harms one another.
Ultimately, Israel and Ukraine have the same enemies. They should realize this and act like it.

Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Turkey all received large shipments of wheat grains stolen by Russia, why the anger specifically at Israel? Ukraine cannot expect Israel to stand by it because of Russia's aid to Iran, Ukraine always votes against Israel in the UN, and the Ukrainian anger specifically at Israel and not at the other countries that also buy stolen Ukrainian grain mainly shows hypocrisy.
