Talksport - don’t remember you doing a week talking about this.
But a United keeper has it happen to him in a friendly and you’ll find six days worth for it won’t ya?
🤔
Save this tweet @ManUtd will go close to winning this league. #mufc. People saying yesterday was our worst day ever as a club, have they forgotten we lost life's in a plane crash. We arose from that we will certainly rise from a 6-1 defeat. Can't wait for Newcastle away 💪🏽⚽️
Anyone else picked up on the fact that the vast majority of reds from in/around Manchester and also match going reds are #OleIn and the #OleOut brigade are from nowhere near our awesome city and/or have never stepped foot in OT in their lives... weird that... 🤔
@timscoreboard Are we ever relaxed watching this club. Under Fergie we had these type of performances as well. I'm confident we will go close to winning this whole thing united4life 💪🏽⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
@Berniecoutinho But we haven't been outstanding defensively in that block of games either, so the bigger picture means seeing everything, win, lose or draw.
Do you ever feel relaxed watching us defensively? Because I don't and I don't see that changing with the defenders we've got, fitter or not
Again I see our defenders being singled out for individual criticism; some of it justifiable, but it's as a defensive unit we've looked poor, with bad individual performances masking that fact.
We have to do better as a unit and that's done on the training ground
@timscoreboard Players need to play games to get physically and mentally sharp. Tired body and tired mind leads to mistakes. I'll start to question the shape defensively after 5-6 games. Last 15 PL games, won 10 lost 4 drawn 1 were aren't rubbish over night.
@Berniecoutinho Then play the fittest players to help protect them.
Yes a yard of fitness can make a massive difference, but there's more to our issues than fitness. We lacked focus and unity from the start and that's concerning for a team that had a week to recover and train.
