@Dilshad_Jawish The Kurdish alliance with Iran is historic. You cannot say that the Kurdish region has nothing to do with the war. Even in 1980s Iraq-Iran war, Kurdish factions were allies of the Iranian army against Iraq.

Sheikh Said was captured by the Turkish army and was executed in 1926, but thousands of armed Kurds crossed the borders into French mandated Syria. The French authorities welcomed these armed Kurds and used them against the Arab tribes revolt in Syria.

@EhmedeXani There is no such thing as Kurdistan in order to be united. Kurdistan never existed as a politically recognized country at any time in history. This is the ONLY fact. It was always virtual and imaginary.

Baban was a tribe, but Kurdish nationalists classify it as emirate or principality. This and other tribes never acted from their sense of Kurdishness. Why, because these Kurdish tribes fought and attacked other Kurdish tribes. The Soran, Baban, Bahdinan, Bohtan, etc. were always fighting each other for control and expansion. There was no such thing as feeling of common Kurdishness, but the common knowledge about these tribes which is raiding other tribes, stealing, attacking others and stealing their crops, animals or women.
