This is a concerning development, if it means a Quieter Neighbourhood risks becoming a Less Quiet Neighbourhood. Increasing the convenience of driving usually increases the amount of driving, and undermines incentives for more-sustainable alternatives.

We have been closely monitoring Bush Hill Parade and the issue surrounding parking and driving on the pavement outside the shops. Today BHP officers spotted a vehicle parked on the pavement and issued a Section 59 warning to the driver, if ASB continues the car will be seized.

I was in Enfield on Friday and got a sneak preview of this lovely new route - much of which used to be completely inaccessible to the public. Great to see the new walking & cycling bridge being installed.

Enfield Town to Broxbourne Walking and Cycling Route – Construction Update! We are delighted to say that the Turkey Brook Bridge for the walking and cycling path over the Turkey Brook has been lifted into place today. The route is planned to be open to the public by mid-May.
