Today at our full Kent County Council meeting I decided to be a part of a walk out.
Why?....
There is an election taking place in Cliftonville for KCC. It had been said that everyone needs to be careful about what they say, so as not to influence voters.
Reform UK decided to put through a motion about an Immigration Emergency in Kent.
Reform UK campaign all the time about Immigration and putting such a motion through is directly influencing voters who agree with what their campaigns are about.
I think it is shameful that they put it through now and didn't wait till after the election.
Therefore, I joined the leader of the Opposition which is the Libdems, as did the Labour, Greens , Tories, and Restore councillors, in walking out.

Disgraceful! Better Way Of will turn this around when we get into power. No abortions after 6 weeks unless there is a danger to the mother and or babies life. Alternatively, if a woman has been raped and is unable to mother the child, there may be need to abort, but this should be done at the earliest possible time.

As the Archbishop of Canterbury, she should have a strong and definite answer. It is not okay for anyone to abort a baby full term. There is absolutely no debate needed. Once a foetus has a heartbeat, at 6 weeks old, it is, in it's own right a living being.
The only times abortion may be considered is if there is a risk of life to the mother and or the baby and if the mother is raped and unable to mother that child once born. Though adoption could be an option, there are many children already seeking a home. However, in these scenarios they should be aborted at the earliest convenience and where already aware of the issues, within 6 weeks.
No discussions needed, it is as straight forward as that.

I have been asked what our party view is on Assisted Dying.
There is definitely a need for assisted dying. I have seen suffering and although we would all like to just die peacefully in our sleep, never be involved in any paralysing accident and never suffer with anything that requires us to fully rely on others, this is not reality.
What sort of a life do you think somebody is having once they become unable to live their life properly? Why should they be forced to continue living if in chronic pain and are literally just surviving?
Is it not right that a person keeps their dignity? Should a person not have the choice of what happens to them? Freedom of choice should be applicable if they are able to make a decision.
If you choose to continue living that is your decision and if you to choose to die that should also be your decision.

📢Announcement 📢 As of last night I left UKIP and I am leader of my own party Better Way Of. I started planning my party many years ago, but I decided I needed to get involved within politics first. What I have learned is that politics is like a school playground and that right now so many leaders are either becoming extreme or are Wishy Washy. There are many people in our country who don't vote, don't want to be associated with politics and are not represented by anyone. Likewise there are many on the Left and Right who are stuck with choosing the best of the bad. We are neither Left nor Right. I believe in patriotism but am also humanitarian and I know many people who feel the same. It shouldn't be about division and ideologies, it should be about doing what is right for our country and our citizens. Decisions should be transparent, visual, understandable and outcome-driven.
