⌛️ Network data show #Iran's internet blackout is now in its 44th day, continuing in its seventh week past the 1032 hour mark. The human and economic impacts of the extended censorship measure continue to pile up, breaking global records for shutdowns in a connected society.

The Guardian doing its bit to rehabilitate LITERAL ISIS MEMBER today. Fucking crazy. “If you met Tareena Shakil today, you would have no idea that the person in front of you had served time in prison for terrorism offences and holds the dubious distinction of being the first British woman convicted of joining Islamic State. Now 36, Shakil is glamorous, heavily made-up with long, tousled hair. When we meet at a plush hotel in Birmingham, she wears a sharply tailored dress, waist cinched in with a wide leather belt, and carries a Louis Vuitton handbag. She is bubbly and warm, with a disarmingly open demeanour. In short, this isn’t what springs to mind when you hear the words “terrorism conviction”.”

@PeterTatchell @metpoliceuk I think London has seen enough Palestinian marches over the last few years, even in areas where Jews have been intimidated and harassed .

Met police allow far right march by Tommy Robinson in central London But refuse to allow Palestine march in key parts of central London, where it has marched for years Clear bias by @metpoliceuk consistent with its repression of Palestine protests. SHAME theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/a…

“In a primary school, the girls had one day a week to play football on the playground. The boys were upset because “they’ve taken a day off us” @FA video clearly shows mixed-sex sport in primary school results in excluding girls U11 girls are being put off sport for life 1/

Using football to make a difference around the world ⚽️ From the launch of a new competition to nurture young talent in Uganda, to the opening of a temporary mini-pitch in Paris, these were some of our Member Associations’ highlights in March.

@NiohBerg You do realise that age 18 is an arbitary number right? Brain development does not complete until 25 so maybe in 100 years they will call someone who married a 23 year old a pedofile. Also in some USA states there is no minimum age for marriage

Ghalibaf married his wife when he was 21 years old and she was 14. They married in 1982, after the islamic regime had lowered the age of marriage for girls all the way down to 9. This literal paedophile is the man gaslighting the world about what an Epstein regime looks like.

First-time parents were repeatedly told to “ignore” the fact their baby son couldn’t crawl, then got the devastating diagnosis. Little Noah Lewis is now three and severely disabled with rare, incurable Niemann-Pick Disease Type C1, a progressive brain-wasting condition that causes seizures, loss of speech, swallowing problems and respiratory failure. His parents raised multiple red flags with doctors, only to be fobbed off with “developmental delays resolve themselves” and told to wait until he turned two. Weeks after one doctor finally spotted his spleen was the size of an adult’s, the heartbreaking diagnosis came in September 2024. Noah now needs a feeding tube and constant care.

Few players could conjure up a cross as Trent Alexander-Arnold did for Kylian Mbappe against Bayern in the Bernabeu. Few could see the perfect place to put the ball for Mbappe let alone execute the pass. Alexander-Arnold could. Vision and technique. Other countries would celebrate such a talent. He’s won the Premier League and Champions League with Liverpool. He now starts for Real Madrid. Yet can’t make a 36-man England squad for a couple of friendlies. Neither of which England won. Alexander-Arnold did show why the watching Thomas Tuchel has concerns about him defensively. Few expect England’s head coach to pick him in his World Cup 26. Reece James, fitness permitting, and probably Tino Livramento are Tuchel’s right-back picks. But Alexander-Arnold showed the huge reward that goes with occasional risk. His dead-ball delivery and crossing are world class. Can Tuchel really leave such a game-changing talent behind? He probably will. And there will be crunch moments in the knockout stages, late on in tight games against far more testing opposition than England swanned past in qualifying, perhaps even in a penalty shootout, when England will regret not having Alexander-Arnold's right foot to kick-start their recovery. His club-mate, Jude Bellingham, showed at the Bernabeu why he has to start at 10 for England at the World Cup. Big-game player, came on and brought more menace to Real. His strong personality, technical and physical qualities are needed in pressure situations. Tuchel has exceptional options at 10, and Morgan Rogers is a Tuchel favourite, but Bellingham is world class. He has to start. #ENG #RMCF #RMABAY
