@BigJanek1 They’re really a junior player, maybe the most junior, in the league; perhaps the least capitalized ownership group

Having a first class NFL-quality entertainment venue makes good sense for the state of Illinois either in downtown Chicago or Arlington heights
The state should build a publicly funded stadium on its own and attract a better organization to play in it (Green Bay) as leverage

Statement from the Chicago Bears. They want more
English

@danholyo @living757not847 @therealburns3 I want to bears to own there own stadium to born and raised in Chicago 40+ years buddy
English

@living757not847 @therealburns3 You want the Bears to own their stadium? Ummm okay, strange… I was born and raised in Chicago, fella. 30+ years.
English

@danholyo @jmvainisi @North2North @DanSileoShow @BarroomNetwork 100% bears are not staying in Chicago
English

@jmvainisi @North2North @DanSileoShow @BarroomNetwork This is true but nobody wants to go to Arlington Heights either. They want Chicago and Chicago is where they’ll stay no matter which location the Bears move to. If I’m coming into town for a weekend for an event, I’m definitely staying in Chicago and not some giant strip mall.
English

Hammond is a dump and the site is toxic .Have said all along you want max success you build in Arlington. It’s a perfect site . 👏🔥👈 . @DanSileoShow @BarroomNetwork
Burns@therealburns3
They have all of the land in the world to build a Bears paradise. Massive tailgating scene even bigger than now, huge bar strip, Chicago sports museum, and more. Can’t stop thinking about it. Arlington Heights will be glorious.
English

@jmvainisi @North2North @DanSileoShow @BarroomNetwork Lol there will be a superbowl and final four there once the stadium is built
English

@North2North @DanSileoShow @BarroomNetwork There will NEVER be a Super Bowl or Final Four in Hammond! No one wants to go to Hammond even if it’s passing through. The people who live there probably don’t want to be there!!
English

@CroninBarr99312 @North2North @DanSileoShow @BarroomNetwork By then the state will probably want them to pay 500 million in property taxes
English

@North2North @DanSileoShow @BarroomNetwork The details I read all the tax aspect of the agreement to be reopened in 5 and 7 years. What could go wrong for the Bears?
English

@North2North @DanSileoShow @BarroomNetwork Illinois is a dump and the entire state is toxic! The Hammond is a perfect site. If you want max success with EVERYTHING already approved even Infrastructure something Illinois hasn't approved yet! Hammond is the best site for max success
English

@culturecanceler Bears will veto any team coming so no green bay,no Philly and no any other team
English

@culturecanceler 1 you got to stop with a Chicago site it's not going to happen 2 the bears can and will veto any team coming within 90 miles! And no Hammond Indiana is not 90 miles from chicago or AH!
English

@questionableway You know, at some point it would be cheaper just to take the team into public ownership.
English

@questionableway @bernal_vin46624 @PritzkerForPrez Lol they are paying for it them selves! They want Infrastructure what ever business would get and property taxes thats NOT 250+ million! Let's raise your property tax to 250+ million!
English

@bernal_vin46624 @PritzkerForPrez we shouldn’t give tax breaks to billionaires. they can pay for it themselves or fuck right off
English

@new_era2811 @keiseansdad @BriskerSZN @MaryAnnAhernNBC @Bears Just ask i thought a chicken shit coward! When you're man enough ask your mother if it's ok to leave the basement and come say it to my face!
English

@BigJanek1 @keiseansdad @BriskerSZN @MaryAnnAhernNBC @Bears Calm down bitch boy 😂 it’s happening seethe harder
English

NEW: House Dem says post caucus - floor vote will happen this week - maybe tomorrow on plan for @Bears to Arlington Heights.
This is huge progress.
English

@new_era2811 @keiseansdad @BriskerSZN @MaryAnnAhernNBC @Bears Yes they will the bears will never pay 250 million in property taxes when they can pay 9 million! How about you stop hiding behind a screen and run your mouth to my face! That is if your mother will let you leave her basement
English

@BigJanek1 @keiseansdad @BriskerSZN @MaryAnnAhernNBC @Bears Indiana is a shithole they’re never gonna choose dump Hammond over Arlington heights seethe more 😹😹😹
English

@new_era2811 @keiseansdad @BriskerSZN @MaryAnnAhernNBC @Bears There's nothing to dream about the bears are going to Indiana! You cope dumbass
English

@ryantadych @MaryAnnAhernNBC @CHGO_Bears No they not! The bears will be leaving for Indiana! Progress was not made! Last night the bill was 76 pages this morning the bill was 379 pages! That tells me Progress was not made
English

@BigJanek1 @MaryAnnAhernNBC @CHGO_Bears Yes they will. They aren’t going to leave them hanging if progress is being made.
English

Waiting for House Committee to begin discussing Bears stadium bill, already the Illinois Federation of Teachers are likely to oppose the bill “if it moves forward in current form” @CHGO_Bears
English

@paulderdash1 @danholyo @ggabefootball They do owe the stadium in Indiana like the comment above me said avoid property taxes. Plus the state of Indiana will get a small percentage of all events outside of football!
English

@danholyo @ggabefootball In Indiana the Bears dont own their stadium. So you make less money in a swamp that smells like piss, and you dont own it. Lose/Lose.
English

When Arlington Park was still around they were paying property taxes of between 2.8 to 3.2M.
The Bears now are paying 3.6M for a vacant piece of land. The county and school districts want to gouge them way more. That’s just not right.
Not only will a Stadium be in the property but there will also be several other buildings/business paying taxes. It will be a cash cow for the county/school districts when the whole project is complete.
The idiot politicians never see the big picture they look at just a small part. And we wonder why this state is so screwed up
