@CardioFixer I read that the reason the letter A was on the side of the mountain is because back in 1916, the A was built by students of the University of Arizona (U of A for short) following their football victory. So to let you newcomers know it’s not called “a mountain” it’s “A” mountain.

Fun fact: Arizona does indeed have a mountain called “A Mountain,” it is real, and it is in Tucson. Sometimes the simplest names really do stick. This is hilarious. IYKYK… 😂
