As an athletic director and S&C coach at the high school and college levels, I was certainly annoyed plenty of times by private coaches. Now that I’ve pivoted, I want to come up with a solution because I understand that athletes will look for extra work… it’s just the reality! With our football development, we want to add, not complicate or overtrain, football athletes. We will reinforce the techniques that each athlete’s coaches use, not just overload them with our opinions… but also think holistically to teach them the game because of coaching turnover and some athletes want to play at the next level. Communication will be huge. We will sit down and talk with each athlete that comes in our doors to get a good picture of what will help them individually. This changes constantly! We’re going to have experienced local high school coaches like @CoachShack_ and @monoki who have a deep understanding of S&C and SPEED while understanding the game of football and how the training will carry over to the field. This combined with my knowledge and @coachjimgush who has decades of coaching at a variety of Division I programs. Someone who has forgotten more football than most know. He will be on the board and breaking down film. The cherry on top, we have sport scientist @Alex_RunScience to help assist us with testing, recovery, and so much more. We have all the toys you can imagine, but most importantly, we have coaches who will push you and drive intent. I’m excited for this to get rolling. 🙏 DM me for more info….
