People are not getting this. In January, most of the country gets roughly 9–10 hours of daylight no matter what we call the clock. Example: STANDARD TIME: ☀️ Sunrise: ~7:15 AM 🌅 Sunset: ~5:00 PM PERMANENT DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME: ☀️ Sunrise: ~8:15 AM 🌅 Sunset: ~6:00 PM That is the SAME amount of daylight. You did not gain sunlight. You just moved the clock one hour later and created darker mornings in winter. The sun doesn’t change. The clock does

@Bigtoe88 @VinnyBonsignore How many rookie QBs actually played/ started on playoff teams? As s back up, Simpson will be cheaper than Garrapolo was or another veteran QB. So he helps there. Even if he doesn't start until year 3, he will be cheaper in yrs 3 & 4, & even 5 if he is playing at a high level

The extension was always going to happen. There was never even a question. The organization assessed Simpson as a QB they can build a championship team around, and had access to. (Something that doesn't always line up) Not taking a QB you've made that determination about, when you're current QB is 38, is a dereliction of duty.

@jemelehill The NFL is literally a game of inches. These athletes and teams do everything to get every single teeny tiny advantage. Yes, these little things matter

And no, I do not expect Jaxson Dart being pro-Trump or Abdul Carter checking his QB publicly to be an issue in the locker room. Players play alongside guys who have been accused of and committed criminal acts. They play for owners who are Trump supporters, and I’m sure most locker rooms have MAGA supporters. The average NFL career is 3-5 years. Most players care about their next check/contract, and winning. Some might be side-eyeing Dart, but guys play alongside players they don’t like all the time.

Jaxson Dart introducing Trump and Kaepernick kneeling were both people exercising their First Amendment rights. You don’t have to agree with either, but if you support one and condemn the other because of politics, that’s blind party loyalty.

@sreinert6685 @VinnyBonsignore Depends on the rookie. But yes. 45% of the playoff teams this year had a QB on a rookie deal. Out of those, 5 of them started games their rookie season. Having a QB on a rookie deal is an NFL cheat code.

@jemelehill Dart introduced the president of the country that we all live in. Carter called out a teammate. Those are two very different things.

So Jaxson Dart gets to publicly express his political beliefs, but Abdul Carter doesn’t? If this is about locker room sanctity and leadership, is it a good idea for the face of the franchise to attend a political rally for a president that is considered to be hugely divisive?

Ok. Take government completely out of healthcare. No rules. No laws. No Medicare. No Medicaid. Hospitals, insurance companies, can do anything they want. What do they do ? If you were running any of the biggest insurance companies or hospitals, what would you do differently once gov was completely out of healthcare ?

Let’s not do that thing where we’re trying to pretend this isn’t what it looks like. Abdul Carter is a Black man and a Muslim and given the things that Trump has said about/done when it comes to both groups, it’s fair (and also not surprising) that he has a problem with it.

I’ll offer Hollywood a groundbreaking new marketing strategy for free. You ready for it? It’s called: Talk about what’s good about your movie without disparaging a demographic. It’s crazy, I know, but it may just work. “How do you respond to the critics?” Either 1) you ignore them and carry on since the movie is already made or 2) you learn the art of tasteful deflection and say something like “They appear passionate, and we would love for them to see the movie themselves so they can get a full picture of what we intend. We may end up finding common ground that way.” I’m not a professional and I can think of this stuff, they have no excuse.

Zendaya keeps getting cast in movies due to her large social media following because Hollywood doesn't know how to create stars anymore. She's not conventionally attractive to a lot of males because she's a human clothes hanger (fashion model beauty standards).
