I'm sorry but unless you're kid is an absolute strung out junkie that can't be helped, it's 100% on the parent & you're a shitty parent if the relationship fails. Aside from the most specific of scenarios, I'd never blame the child for not having a relationship with the parent. I mean shit, you sound annoyed / pissed that you even had a daughter. Do better

But if you want to convert people or change their minds, I’d say there are far better arguments that they struggle to refute.
