The Flyers are on the right track to success It's clear they need a bonafide number one Center, everyone knows this. It won't come easy to obtain one, but some good teams have only played a handful games more than the Flyers this season, like the Colorado Avalanche

Some should chill about Matvei Michkov. Some say Owen Tippett had a great season, but he finished with the same points as Michkov. Both Flyers wingers finished with identical 51 points in 81 games: Michkov is held to a higher standard, due to ceiling, that's the difference.

I hope the Flyers don’t run back an identical roster. I hope they don’t spend stupid money on a one-hit wonder like Raddysh. I hope Briere has a big summer properly addressing holes (C + PPQB) I hope the Flyers fire Tocchet and hire a real coach

@JameyBaskow Please tell me how you get paid to do this. Do you actually watch the games. He could not keep up and nearly every time the puck came up his wall he lost the battle. He also did not produce when he had a chance

Rick Tocchet is a bad hockey coach. All the things he did in 2nd half of year the fans begged for all year or Jonesy had to tell him to do it. They have got to fire him before he ruins the future

It’s unreal how the @NHLFlyers beats just suck off Tocchet, yet never call him out for his deficiencies/cluelessness come playoff hockey. They truly mishandled Michkov (who was bad all playoffs, but so were MANY others). You can’t hold a double-standard. Some things never change!

With Michkov it's important to view things in big picture Here's cross-section of some current NHL leading scorers and what they did in 21yo season MacKinnon - 53 pts Kucherov - 65 Caufield - 43 Suzuki - 41 Connor - 57 Michkov had 51 He had sophomore slump but will be fine

Genuine question: why has Matvei Michkov been stapled to the 3rd line this entire playoff run? It seems like most players have been bounced up and down the lineup, but for some reason, Michkov is a lock at 3rd line right wing. He's obviously struggled, but why not try to give him a look on a higher line? I would have loved to see him flipped with Martone and run with: Bump-Zegras-Michkov Grundstrom-Barkey-Martone Give Michkov some solid talent to work around and let him go to work. Just my opinion 🤷‍♂️

Yes… this is correct. But on the 4th line though? Grundstrom and Hathaway make a better lineup b/c of what they bring to a line like that. If it was Top9 obviously yes. #LetsGoFlyers

One of the priorities the rest of the Flyers season, in my opinion, should be getting Nikita Grebenkin more minutes with better players. Why in the world is Grundstrom playing with Zegras and Tippett instead of Grebenkin with those two? Plus, Nikita was a monster last game.

@jack_sperry Steelers also need three running backs so why would they trade him. Makes no sense. Especially if the draft is weak. What would they get a dayb3 pick. Let him be the 3rd and earn some time

With the Steelers signing Rico Dowdle, Kaleb Johnson just became a top trade candidate for Pittsburgh this offseason. I’m curious to see how much they could get for him in a trade. Obviously his value has taken a hit since he was drafted last year, but there’s definitely teams out there that liked him coming out that still need RB help, and this isn’t a great RB draft class with the free agency well starting to run pretty dry at this point. I don’t think KJ is a completely worthless asset of the trade market this year.

This was a seller market. A very seller market. This is a loss for Brière, especially with a few teams showing interest in Ristolainen and with him acquiring David Jiříček today. Will they really play Jiříček in the AHL? Cool.
