Wow - I came across a flock of 69 Pin-tailed Sandgrouse at a local site which is known for these rare & beautiful birds. Did not know the male had a blue eye ring - never seen so close. 6 Black-bellied too. #birds #birding #birdphotography #birdsseenin2026

A little ray of sunshine and colour from Slimbridge a few weeks back,this little 5gms bundle of feathers was busy feeding at the gate to the Kingfisher hide and was completely focused on the task in hand so obvious to us
