For any who may be interested, our good friend Christina Baxter will be speaking at the evening Holy Week Services (Mon-Fri, 7.30pm) in Holywood Parish Church. The theme is Close Encounters, and we pray for a fresh encounter with Jesus

So proud of Sam. This afternoon he represented Ulster U17's and scored the second try from a beautiful intercept inside his own half. 21-0 against a New South Wales touring side (NSW Raptors). @mcb_rugby @downanddromore

@AWilkinson267 Lovely picture of St Canice’s. A place close to our hearts, as Liz and I were married there 45 years ago on 2 January

One of the perks of living in the Cathedral Close in Kilkenny is having views like this!

@peterlynas @MalcolmJDuncan @dduncan42 Thank you, Malcolm, for raising this important issue. Thanks, Stephen, for grounding us in other similar challenges. What surprises me is that the question has hardly been looked at here, and you have raised it and enabled a discussion

@davedicko Dave, the loss of your mum is a devastating loss, even with the sure knowledge of the resurrection. Please know that you, your dad and the whole family circle are in my prayers. Harold

M U M • My mum passed away in the early hours of the morning. So much pain. So much loss. Feels like a massive hole has just been punched in me. So proud and thankful to call her my mum. It’s so easy to write about someone who spent most of her life staying out of the spotlight.
