It's that part of the market cycle where on-net, money is leaving the ecosystem, which means large cap assets (bitcoin and ethereum) suffer, and frustrated traders FOMO into smaller coins because those are the only markets that can move in such an environment. Be weary of narratives forming right now. Narratives follow price, not the other way around. These types of people are traders, they don't actually like Near, or Zcash or Venice or Hyperliquid or whatever. They just like it right now because it's green. And they are fully aware the trade is zero-sum. Their plan is to FUD bitcoin as much as they can, because getting you to dump your BTC and buy their bags is their entire investment thesis.
