Many Bitcoiners care more about their follower count and the personal brand they’re trying to build than about speaking out against the delusional censorship push coming from the BIP-110 crowd. Respect to the real Bitcoiners who loudly and proudly defend keeping Bitcoin permissionless, exactly as it was always meant to be. Screw your brand, and screw your follower count. You will only be remembered for staying silent. The real ones will be remembered for loudly standing firm against this utterly failed statist movement that was once denounced by Luke himself before he developed an egotistical savior complex.

@PsychedelicBart @PubKey It's nothing personal, I dislike cities and I steer clear of them. I've lived in Detroit and Chicago and I've been to NYC in the past and have zero desire to go back. I'm a country person now. The more rural the area, the happier I am. I enjoy the quiet low crime lifestyle.

@CorySwan The Bitcoin therapist was/is a content thief and a purely trash engagement farming account. I'm actually thrilled he got demonetized.

@TioPepeee @zndtoshi I literally just told you I don't agree with spamming the network and I definitely don't benefit from it, but the network is permissionless. How fucking dumb witted are you retards? Go hard fork off and censor your own chain.

you probably know this. He stole my video, shared it on his account, and it exploded to MILLIONS of views He pocketed thousands of dollars off my hard work, pure theft But after months of reports? Justice finally hit. His creator payout has been paused Stealing content never pays. Karma always wins @TheBTCTherapist 😉

This thief account stole my video, downloaded it and shared it like it was their own creation. Just because they’ve got 200k followers doesn’t give them the right to rip off creators like me I’ve already filed a copyright claim on X. I’m not backing down. I’ll fight this until their account gets shut down for good You need to take action against content thieves @elonmusk @nikitabier

Bitcoin is permissionless which means it's also for your enemies and things you may not like. I don't have to like or agree with something, but I can still accept that with a permissionless network comes things I may not like or agree with. If you can't handle Bitcoin's permissionless nature, I'd suggest creating your own little permissioned network and forking off ✌️ It's that simple.

Many of us in The Bitcoin Army were inspired to monetize our accounts based on @TheBTCTherapist ‘s call to action over the past 2 years. It’s sad to see this guy who has worked hard to create a following get removed without clear explanation. I have seen this happen to other creators with smaller accounts as well and it’s unfortunate. My hope is that @X can strengthen their review process and at least give clearer explanations on removal. But for everyone who has experienced this keep going, because I have also seen many creators get their accounts back. Spread the word friends. @AAStack @XSTAC1 @FreedomMemesIRL @BTCBreadMan @BitmundFreud @henaohodl @JoelHodlman
The ₿itcoin Therapist@TheBTCTherapist

This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I’m completely devastated. Last Friday, I️ was notified that my monetization had been paused. I’ve shown up on this app for 5 years straight every single day to grow my account to what it is now. I️ never once paid for ads, never bought followers, never did anything but grow in an organic way. After appealing once, I️ was told my account was removed due to spam and inauthentic content. This couldn’t be further from the truth. I️ spend 6-12 hours on X daily in addition to my full time job; creating content, interacting and posting. I’ve adapted to new algorithms, posting strategies and even started a newsletter. I️’ve stopped using any other online platforms as I️ truly value the freedom and community X has brought me. Every single holiday, family event, vacation, wedding, birthday, you name it, I’ve been active on X during it. I’ve never once taken for granted the audience I’ve grown on this app and have thoroughly enjoyed the relationships I’ve built because of it. During this last period in which I️ was removed, I️ proposed to my girlfriend of 7 years. During this proposal trip, I️ stayed active online the entire time, which is nothing new. I have given up years of time to create something bigger with no regret. But now, after being denied and repeatedly called a spam account, with no way to plead my case, my last resort is to post here. Having to do this publicly feels so pathetic. It’s been almost a week and 2 appeals later, and I️ can’t get in touch with anyone who’s willing to help. I haven’t been given any clarification of where I️ went wrong or if there is a pathway to resolution. How can I️ dedicate myself so profoundly to something for so many years without being given any chance to make a simple change in my form of content? I’ve never had my account flagged or even been told of any misconduct in a 5 year period. The first I️ hear of an issue is ironically on pay day after spending hours upon hours working online during my vacation. I️ don’t expect everyone to be able to understand the severity of this situation because they will never see the time, sacrifices and work put into growing an account from 0 followers to over 260k. I️ can’t begin to explain the things I’ve sacrificed to get to the point of being a creator and I️ can’t help but feel like the platform has failed me. To you, this may just be a lighthearted meme account you follow. To me, this has altered my life. I️ was committing to go full time on X and even put in notice at my full time job. It is every content creators dream to be able to take this on full time, and to have it taken away from you almost as soon as you got it, feels gut wrenching. Over the last 2 years I’ve told everyone how important it is to get a blue checkmark, pay for premium and begin to monetize their account. I️ couldn’t have been louder about how much I️ love this platform and truly felt it was the only platform worth being on. The freedom I️ was given was amazing up until now. I️ truly never thought something like this would happen. All of this to say, I️ am not a spam account and I️ deserve reconciliation. I️f there is a specific thing I’ve done wrong, I️ will adapt my content to no longer do so. But a permanent suspension with a false reasoning will never be okay with me. I️ would hope that you are also not okay with taking away the livelihood of the creators on a platform that prides itself on free speech. @XCreators @premium @x @elonmusk @nikitabier

nice collage of ancient tweets and drama. I don't like Udi or Bailey either, never have, they both have me blocked. Their takes on inscriptions etc. don't dictate my view on BIP-110. The proposal is still garbage censorship at consensus level. It adds subjective filters to 'fix' data you hate, breaks future upgrade paths, gets bypassed anyway (spam evolves, always has), and has pathetic ~3-5% node signaling with basically zero miner support. Ocean mined one block? Cool story. No major pools care. Permissionless means no one gets to gatekeep valid fee-paying txs based on 'non-financial' opinions. Run Knots mempool policy if you want filters on your node. Don't rewrite Bitcoin rules for a year-long nanny experiment that risks splits and kills neutrality. If your best clapback is 'but Udi said X in 2023', you already lost the argument. Principle over personalities. Bitcoin stays permissionless or it dies.

BIP-110 is straight up censorship dressed as "spam control." It introduces consensus-level filtering to block certain transaction patterns (like those used for inscriptions and arbitrary data). Once you start letting a subset of devs or node runners decide which valid, fee-paying transactions get rejected at the protocol level, you open the door to more selective rules later. Regulators, governments, or even future "well-meaning" groups will notice Bitcoin can be pressured into changes. Neutrality and permissionlessness are what make Bitcoin antifragile. Break that, and you invite centralization creep, and it's a slippery slope to go down. Worse, it does not even work. Bitcoin stays permissionless, so determined spammers just adapt. They can obfuscate data, split it across transactions, use different opcodes, or find new embedding tricks (people already tested bypasses during debates). Filters get cat-and-moused forever, while real financial txs stay fine but the network pays the cost in complexity and risk. Tests on millions of txs show it filters some junk now, but spam evolves faster than rigid rules. Bitcoin is permissionless and spam is unstoppable.
