People on social media will try to convince you to care about stupid shit that doesn’t matter. To give your scarce time and attention to the Current Thing du jour. THIS is what you should care about. This is what really matters. Family is everything. Feeling very grateful.

.@TFTC21 turned 9 last month. It started as Marty's Bent, a newsletter for friends and family to learn a little bit about bitcoin every day. The newsletter grew beyond my circle thanks to Twitter. Soon after the podcast was launched. We've published over 2,100 newsletters and 700 podcasts since I started. I was woefully unemployed and unsure about my future when I hit publish on the first newsletter. All I knew is that I was certain that the world misunderstood bitcoin and there was a gap in the market for educating people about those misunderstandings. TFTC has led me to places over the last decade that my 26 year old self would not have believed. I've helped start a mining company, helped deploy over a quarter of a billion dollars into bitcoin and energy infrastructure companies at @ten31funds, and developed a network of friends and colleagues that have made me a better person and operator. Along the way, I've had three sons with my beautiful wife and they motivate me to be the best man I can be. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found my calling and leaned into it nine years ago. The one lesson that is crystal clear to me as I've built out this company is that consistency is key. We're going to win.

It’s funny that “Bitcoin Twitter” with like 25-100k people that continuously bicker, is maybe like 0.002% of all people that own Bitcoin. A niche of a niche. There are people here that never post, but get all the info they need to just make a decision and go on with their lives.

@MartyBent man, this resonates with me. My parents, dad in particular has these same strong beliefs about keeping family together. My brother, my sister and I are VERY different with different beliefs. We all still live and respect one another. It's a beautiful thing.

The biggest hole in society today is strong nuclear and extended families. The number one goal of my maternal grandmother was that her (8) kids would be friends with each other for life and that their kids would be close too. My mother and her brothers and sisters followed through and I have the incredible fortune of having 20+ cousins who are like brothers and sisters to me. Part of what made that possible was a concerted effort to get everyone together as frequently as possible. Sunday dinners, holidays and during Summer vacation. When we get together there are three generations intermingling and this creates an environment where norms are implicitly and explicitly expressed and passed down to the younger generations. This has created a somewhat unspoken standard and checks and balances within the family that make everyone strive to be better. I feel incredibly blessed to have been born into my family and honored to contribute to it with children of my own. And I truly believe that if more people put a concerted effort in like my grandmother did with her children, a lot of the stresses, anxieties and evils that exist today would be greatly reduced. Family is everything and it needs to be a more of a focus in today’s world.

The Template Behind Every Psyop: How Global Control System Really Works Ep. 147 with @FatEmperor *Apologies friends, the video is a bit out of focus..! Ivor Cummins is a biochemical engineer, author, and independent commentator based in Dublin, Ireland, known for his channel and platform The Fat Emperor. After a career in engineering and complex problem-solving, Ivor turned his analytical lens on the corporate distortion of nutritional science, exposing decades of deliberate misinformation around dietary fat and cholesterol.. When lockdowns began in 2020, Ivor rapidly identified the pandemic response as an orchestrated, multi-layered control mechanism and became one of the most prominent voices challenging the official narrative using establishment data against itself. He has since been shadow banned, given YouTube strikes, kicked out of Linkedin, featured in a half-page New York Times piece, and canceled by friends of 40 years. None of which slowed him down. Now completing a Master of Applied Psychology, Ivor is helping people navigate the psychological warfare being waged in modern society. In this conversation, Ivor and I explore the architecture of global control. From climate fear and digital ID rollouts to the power of Bitcoin as a sovereignty tool, we conclude that understanding the system is the first step to escaping it. → Please like, comment, share & follow — to help me beat the suppressing algo's. Thank you!

Are we too comfortable, or just oblivious to what's happening around us?  We’ve gotten used to ease and convenience, but at what cost? The powers that shouldn’t be are actively engineered to keep us blind: from food to finance to weather. Feeling the pain is now unavoidable, history has shown us what happens when we ignore these signs. The question is, are you brave enough to wake up and take action? It’s hard to change, I get it. But staying passive isn’t an option anymore. Whether it’s learning about Bitcoin, building community, or just speaking up - small shifts matter.

The Founding Fathers were the original open source developers. Think about what they actually built. A system of governance with no central authority. Distributed power. Checks and balances. Amendments baked into the protocol so the whole thing could self correct without burning it down. No king. No monarch. No single point of failure. They wrote it with a quill, on parchment, by candlelight, and it terrified every empire on Earth. Why? Because it was the first time in human history that the people held the source code to their own government. Satoshi did it again. For money. A hard cap of 21 million. An immutable supply schedule. No central bank. No committee meetings. No Jerome Powell. No emergency session where six unelected bureaucrats decide to print 40% of all dollars in two years and call it stimulus. Just math. Just code. Just a distributed ledger running across tens of thousands of nodes that no government, military, or executive order can shut down. The Constitution said, no king shall rule your voice. Bitcoin says, no king shall rule your wealth. One protected your speech. The other protects your savings. This isn't a coincidence. It's the same idea, two centuries apart. A government of the people, by the people, for the people. A money of the people, by the people, for the people. The revolution didn't end in 1776. It just happening to our money. Join the Bitcoin revolution and learn how Bitcoin restores personal sovereignty by separating the state from your money.

@GrainofSaltSF @Strategy You are backwards in your logic or at minimum a revisionist historian. Saylor has been critical of using bitcoin for payments, calling it unfortunate and controversial. Strategy can pay dividends in bitcoin or sell bitcoin but people buying goods & services is controversial?
