@MajorianBTC @_colourorange @ralflmuller This argument falls apart under any scrutiny. Only allowing 1 tx per block would be a tightening of the ruleset. Would that make Bitcoin harder and more valuable? How about only allowing p2pkh and eliminating p2sh?

@_colourorange @ralflmuller BIP-110 is interesting from a game-theoretic perspective in that it tightens the rules, whereas BCH and BSV loosened the rules. Bitcoin with a tighter ruleset is, in theory, a harder and thus more valuable money.

If BIP-110 fails, and it proves that the plebs are now powerless, then bitcoin is in big, big trouble. I refuse to believe that this is the case, however.

@JEmCeeKnight @StefanMolyneux Not every user needs to run a node either. But it certainly needs lots of nodes to remain decentralized. If Bitcoin had “upgraded” to 32MB blocks like BCH, spam would have killed it at this point.
