@KathleenEdge @SherryLyn369 It really is! Those kinds of moments just remind you how much heart is behind it all.

@BizScout_ @SherryLyn369 Aww... what a beautiful observation. Dont make me cry! 🥲❤️

Beautiful soaps that are good for you.
She's building her business, buy a bar of soap, or two, and you both win!
A small business thrives, as does a real person, and you get a phenomenal product free of toxins. Hard to find in stores, but you can order!

It's anyone would like to order some soaps to help me buy 55 lbs of cocoa butter, I'll be here working at the studio!

@boluwatifeel Results may take time, but consistency is what makes them possible. Without it, there’s nothing to build on.
English

@BizScout_ 👏👏
The results are not always immediate. But inconsistency shows no results at all.
English

@boluwatifeel @BalogunSam18260 That’s where real progress is made, choosing what’s necessary over what’s easy, even when it’s uncomfortable.
English

@BalogunSam18260 @BizScout_ Choosing between easy and necessary...

When too many differing opinions and needs clash without a framework, family businesses falter. Realizing the business was heading for failure and would harm relationships, the decision was made to either set new rules or exit. #BusinessStrategy #FamilyBusiness
English

@BalogunSam18260 @boluwatifeel That’s usually the reality, the things that drive real progress aren’t easy, but they’re what make the difference over time.

@AlyssaClarkRE @BobbyBizScout Response rate is often the highest-leverage metric to fix first. Everything else becomes more effective once that’s in place.
English

@BobbyBizScout @BizScout_ Response rate as the first metric to fix before anything else is exactly the right prioritization.
English

The average business buyer reaches out to a broker and gets a response 16% of the time.
That means 84% of the work you put in goes nowhere.
We decided to fix that first at @BizScout_ before we touched anything else, because if buyers can't get a response nothing else matters.
Our response rate is in the 40s now.
Still not good enough. But getting better every week.

Selling your business? Don't guess, get expert opinions. Like seeing a doctor for an injury, get multiple opinions from lawyers and advisors. #BusinessTips #Entrepreneurship #ExitStrategy

The hardest part of a massive change isn't the logistics, it's the emotional toll. After a lifetime immersed in a family business, the question of 'what's next?' is profound. It's more than a career; it's a part of your identity. #LifeChange #Identity #Business

Businesses thrive on written rules, not just unwritten cultural norms. Prepare your business for its next stage—whether it's new family, professional management, or even selling—by structuring it properly. Planning ensures you're ready for change. #BusinessTips #GrowthStrategy

Transferring a business? Focus on four key areas: Operations, Financials, Taxes, and Legal. Having these teams in place makes the transition smoother. #BusinessTips #SuccessionPlanning

@Rubeelkhan Selling a business is rarely a single moment, it’s the result of countless intentional decisions made over time. The fundamentals you build early on often determine the outcome long before a sale is ever on the table.

@SungsTreats Excited for this! Niederman Family Farm events are always such a great way to support local makers, and Sung’s Treats sounds delicious. Wishing you a successful Spring Craft Show, hope the community shows up strong and supports small businesses.

@cyrilgupta A lot of people underestimate how far consistency and determination can go. The rest can be built over time, but you have to start first. Momentum often matters more than perfection.
English

@CDInewsletter There’s definitely a lot of honesty and venting in the small business world, but that often comes from how demanding it can be, not from a lack of passion. Most owners wouldn’t trade the independence and purpose it gives them, even on the toughest days.
English

Small business owners tend to share a strong mix of resilience, adaptability, and resourcefulness, they’re comfortable figuring things out as they go and staying close to their customers. Spaces like coworking hubs can really amplify those traits by creating connection, collaboration, and shared momentum."
English

What characteristics do typical small business owners have in common?
We asked a recent visitor to Islandworks, Darren Weale of @InTunePR , dubbed "The Coffee King" for some insights, including into the value of coworking spaces such as ours.

@withbuikem That kind of support makes a real difference, helping small business owners not just start, but build something sustainable and profitable is where long-term impact really happens.
English

@MrPassive_ @Codie_Sanchez @bp22 @valor @seanrad @balajis It’s been a wild but rewarding journey so far. Grateful for the support along the way and excited for what’s ahead!

@Codie_Sanchez @BizScout_ @bp22 @valor @seanrad @balajis Congrats Codie! Been fun watching BizScout take off

I remember people laughing when we launched @BizScout_.
Today we just announced a raise with @bp22 @valor @seanrad @balajis to make it just as easy to buy a small business as it is to buy a house.
We’re building what should have existed 20 years ago:
-Validated pricing on thousands of historical listings so you know what a business is worth
-Off-market deal sourcing so you're not paying $30k for institutional-level deal tech
-Buyer verification so brokers actually respond to you
-Curated listings so you're not digging through junk
And it's working. Since launch in 2024:
-220+ businesses transacted
-152,400+ total users
-52,740+ buyer/seller connections
-20,900+ active listings
-Team of 34
And we're barely scratching the surface…Small-to-mid market M&A is a $150B+ industry. 75 million boomers retiring by 2030, many of them business owners, most of them with no succession plan. 40%+ want to sell in the next 5 years but have no idea how. That's not someone else's problem. That's ours to solve.
We’re already the fasting growing online marketplace for buying and selling small businesses…and we are truly just getting started;)
Thank you to my President @BobbyBizScout and thank you to our investors for helping us do what is right…
Keep Main Street on Main Street.

English

@ch0yan @Codie_Sanchez @bp22 @valor @seanrad @balajis You’re absolutely right. The scale of the SMB succession wave is massive, and the infrastructure around it hasn’t kept up. That gap is exactly what we’re focused on closing at BizScout. Excited to keep building and pushing this forward. Thank you for the support!
English

@Codie_Sanchez @BizScout_ @bp22 @valor @seanrad @balajis The boomer succession wave is the single biggest transfer of SMB ownership in history and the tooling has somehow stayed stuck in 2005. One of the best parts of working on BizScout is watching buyers realize deal tech doesn't have to cost $30k. Big congrats on the raise.
