New York: I'm running for re-election to continue serving as your Attorney General. Since 2019, we've fought for every New Yorker, taking on the powerful, holding bad actors accountable, and delivering results. Our fight is far from over. jamesforny.com

Dozens Could’ve Died’: NYPD Officers Push Back on Media Coverage of Gracie Mansion Attack :Exclusive I spoke with multiple law enforcement sources who were at Gracie Mansion during yesterday’s attempted terrorist attack. Officers described a chaotic and terrifying scene, saying they feared they might not make it home. Some tried to push protesters out of harm’s way, but not everyone complied. Several sources also expressed frustration with the media coverage, saying it downplays the severity of what happened. Dozens could have been injured or killed, they stressed, yet some outlets are spinning it as minor or routine. NYPD sources additionally complained about journalists and photographers at the scene. They said they tried to push media personnel back for safety, but some ignored instructions. Officers told me they’re growing exhausted and frustrated by the job, especially when facing such life-threatening situations. One officer mentioned he was fortunate to make it home safely to his family. By @LeeroyPress

Wrong decision. Congestion pricing is a cash grab that punishes working New Yorkers and outer-borough communities while rewarding the MTA’s incompetence. If we want it gone, there’s only 1 real path forward: elect a Governor who will turn the cameras off. gothamist.com/news/federal-j…

Statement from DEA President Scott Munro: “What we saw in Washington Square Park today was not harmless fun — it was a deliberate, outrageous, and dangerous attack on uniformed police officers. The Detectives’ Endowment Association is calling on Mayor Mamdani and District Attorney Bragg to ensure every individual responsible for this illegal behavior is prosecuted. No free pass. No get out of jail free card. Make no mistake: detectives will do what they always do. They will identify those involved and they will apprehend them. Our men and women in blue deserve to be safe. They deserve to be protected. And they deserve to be respected. They earn it every single day.”

Mayor Mamdani blasted after unruly mob launch 'disgusting' snowball attack on NYPD officers: 'He set the tone' trib.al/rncwuzG

I’ve seen the videos of kids throwing snowballs at NYPD officers in Washington Square Park. Officers, like all city workers, have been out in a historic blizzard, keeping New Yorkers safe and cars moving. Treat them with respect. If anyone’s catching a snowball, it’s me.
