The older I get the more i feel like there is nothing better than just staying at home and spending time with family & good friends. Activities are super fun, but I mean the usual stuff people tend do to socialize. Especially if you have young kids, these days they just want and need your time, like they don’t even care where and what you do. Bring them to some fancy place or buy some nice toys and all they talk about from that day is the little moment you spent together building a boat out of a plastic water bottle. And as parents we will still go to great lengths and keep making big sacrifices to provide the former, it’s hilarious the more you think about it. Restaurants are nice but you will always cook that meat on the grill to perfection every time for a fraction of the cost and have all the other perks and convenience. No traffic, no stress, no waiting. Just peace and tranquility. It doesn’t make sense, maybe I’m just becoming comfortable, old and boring 🙂
