Perhaps this is a novel concept to you, but what is the best tactic or strategy in one set of circumstances may be an entirely incorrect tactic or strategy in another.
When we did that a decade ago, it made sense to do entryism.
However, the circumstances changed in such a way where conducting entryism no longer made sense.
If circumstances changed again to where is made sense to do entryism, then we would.

@Blake_Rodgers_ Why did Trotskyist sects whose origin was with the IMT then try to take over the DSA and encourage it's members to have dual membership with the DSA? This is exactly what Socialist Alternative tried to do a decade ago.

The DSA is built on the sands of reformism and "pragmatism" as opposed to The RCA which basis itself firmly on the rock of Marxist Theory.

My intuition is to say no because we are not in a truly pre-revolutionary situation and despite the growth of The DSA, I don't see a rapidly form left opposition in the pushing it into a centrist organization
However, I admit that, despite learning more about the history of British Trotskyism recently, I am still rather ignorant of the history of entryism v.s the open party and whatnot so I may be mistaken.

Generally, these are the preconditions for a revolutionary party to conduct entryism as laid out by Leon Trotsky...
1. A pre-revolutionary situation
2. A ferment within the party of social democracy (I'd argue DSA qualifies as a "party of social democracy")
And
3. A developing mass left wing opposition within the party.
If those conditions line up than there is a very strong possibility that we would join the DSA and fight for our line and program in it.
