PAINFUL🤦‍♂️💔 One of Alex’s greatest wish was to have his own kids. He loved kids so much that he will always say it publicly that he can’t wait to have his own kids. It’s sad that he is dying without even having a kid. Rumor now has it that his Fiancé left when he discovered he had cancer. Alex has been depressed and has been through pains. He just found rest🤦‍♂️💔

You wonder why we never have steady electricity in Naija. It is not a difficult problem to solve, but with men like this, you will understand why we have remained in perpetual darkness. Saleh Mamman was Minister of Power between 2019 and 2021 under Buhari. He has just been convicted on all 12 counts of money laundering by the Federal High Court in Abuja. The court found him guilty of diverting public funds meant for the Zungeru and Mambilla hydroelectric power projects. He and others allegedly laundered around ₦22 to 33.8 billion. Part of the money was used to buy a house in Abuja with a cash payment of $655,700 (over ₦200 million at the time). The judge described the EFCC evidence as overwhelming and lamented that actions like this make it hard for us to have steady electricity. This is why Naija still suffers from unstable electricity. While Mamman was in charge of the power sector, he left no meaningful legacy. Billions meant for electricity projects ended up in private pockets instead of delivering light. It is not a spiritual problem. It is the direct result of people like Mamman and others like him who steal money meant for power infrastructure. This corruption keeps Nigerians in darkness. This makes me so sad. Why do people do this? What goes on in their head? Why subject a whole nation of over 200 million people to this hardship just to buy houses and travel abroad? It is not life that we are living in Nigeria.

What could really make someone commit such a horrifying act? Drug abuse, mental breakdown, or something else entirely? 💔 A young man in Imo State reportedly took the lives of three people in one day, claiming that God instructed him to do so. One of the victims was said to be his uncle, whom he accused of using juju on him as a child to “steal his intelligence.” After attacking his uncle, he allegedly went on to attack two other strangers, insisting that the “Holy Spirit” directed his actions. The shocking incident sparked outrage in the community, leading angry youths to storm his family house. His wife and children were nearly attacked by the mob before they were eventually rescued. A truly disturbing situation that has left many people questioning what could have led to such tragedy.

Nigeria Cannot Keep Borrowing Its Way To Development — Minister of Finance, Oyedele The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, has warned that Nigeria cannot continue to rely on borrowing to fund development, stressing the need for a sustainable fiscal system. He spoke at the 28th Annual Tax Conference of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria in Abuja. “Nigeria cannot continue to finance development primarily through borrowing. We must build a fiscal system capable of sustainably supporting critical infrastructure, quality education, affordable healthcare, security, and social protection,” he said. His remarks follow reports of ongoing Federal Government discussions with the World Bank over a proposed $1.25bn loan for reforms, job creation, and competitiveness. Oyedele said sustainability goes beyond revenue, adding that it must also promote growth, reduce inequality, and protect vulnerable groups. He explained that tax reforms are aimed at fixing structural issues like multiple taxation, weak compliance, fragmented administration, and overdependence on limited revenue sources. “Businesses faced overlapping debts, unpredictable enforcements, and rising compliance costs. Citizens often perceived the tax system as unfair because the burden was unevenly distributed,” he said. He added that the reforms seek to simplify taxation, improve fairness, attract investment, and strengthen public trust. According to him, minimum wage earners have been exempted from personal income tax, while reliefs have been introduced for low- and middle-income earners. He also noted planned reductions in corporate tax rates and reforms in VAT to ease costs and curb inflation. Oyedele said the government is working with states to reduce multiple taxation, with 15 states already adopting harmonisation laws.He further stated that digital systems, automation, and data integration will drive future tax administration.

A Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) student caused a scene during a church service after publicly accusing Tayo Sobowale of rape. The incident reportedly happened at a branch of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on campus while the pastor was preaching. In the middle of the sermon, the student walked up, took the microphone, and gave her own account of what she says happened. According to her, the pastor assaulted her, a claim he strongly denied. However, he admitted that he had a sexual relationship with a student, insisting it was consensual, a claim the student also disputes, saying it was not. The situation has sparked serious reactions, with many calling for a proper investigation to determine what truly happened.

Let’s connect the dots that many are afraid to touch. A young man, Mene Ogidi, is d€@d k+lled by a police officer in Efunrun, Delta State. The official story? An altercation. A struggle. A tragic escalation. But here is the question no one is asking loudly enough: What if that boy knew something? What if the package he received the one that supposedly triggered this whole deadly encounter contained something that would have put that officer in far deeper trouble than a simple street fight? What if Mene wasn't just a "victim of circumstance," but a loose end that needed to be tied permanently? Think about it. Why would a police officer, trained to de-escalate, resort to lethal force so quickly especially when the victim was reportedly pleading, begging for his life? Could it be that the officer wasn't just silencing a boy, but silencing evidence? If a thorough investigation is ever conducted a real one oooooo, not a cover-up we may find that the officer's connection to that package runs deeper than anyone suspects. And that package, once opened, could unravel something far bigger than a roadside k+lling. Until then, Mene is d€@d. And the only person who could have told us what he knew... has been silenced permanently. We need answers. We need transparency. And we need to stop treating police k+llings as isolated incidents of "anger" when the pattern suggests something far more calculated. Rest in peace, Mene. Your death must not be in vain.

Singer B-Red Escapes A+sas+ination in Osun, Govt Demands Arrest of Suspect Adebayo Adeleke, popularly known as B-Red and son of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, narrowly escaped an a+sass+nation attempt in Osogbo on Wednesday afternoon. The incident reportedly occurred around 3:30 PM near the Oke-Fia axis, close to the Government House, when the music star was said to have been trailed and pursued by suspected hoodlums. Recounting the incident, B-Red said, “As I went out to buy some stuff around Alekuwodo market, I just saw some Okada riders with AMBO caps trying to surround my vehicle at a traffic point under Okefia Bridge.” He explained that the situation escalated when another vehicle joined the scene. “As we tried to move out, we saw a white Toyota Venza coming towards us with a shout of ‘it is him; it is him.’” According to him, the att@ckers intensified their efforts as he attempted to escape. “As we moved, the Toyota Venza pursued us, trying to block my jeep. At the same time, the multiple motorcycles also joined in the chase. The chasing continued until we got to the gate of the Osun State Government House, Oke-Fia.” B-Red further said that one of the people involved in the att@ck was Asiri Eniba, whom he described as a not+rious political thug. “We identified one of the occupants of the vehicle to be Asiri Eniba,” he stated. The matter has since been reported to the police for investigation. Reacting to the development, the Osun State Government called for the immediate arrest and prosecution of the suspect. The demand was conveyed in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, who urged security agencies to act without delay.

For those that met in Ibadan today to threaten others with "Operation Wetie" is a very dangerous gambit. Their brazen threat has been duly noted but they should consider the consequences of their words and proposed course of action before it is too late. The last time Operation Wetie happened there were no winners or losers. After the turmoil, mass murder, arson, chaos and gratutious violence that was witnessed in the SW two very bloody military coups took place in the country in which hundreds of civilians and military personnel were collectively killed. This was followed by a series of horrific pogroms in the North in which thousands were killled and finally came the civil war in which millions, including children, were killed. Do those that attended the 'Opposition Summit' in Ibadan today really want all that to happen again? Is that why they chose that occassion and that city (which is where Operation Wetie started in 1965) to issue their threat? If so they should retrace their steps because nothing beats peace. Outside of that no-one is intimidated or losing any sleep over their threat and, no matter what they do or say, only the will of the people shall stand in the 2027 elections. (FFK)

Meet General Azubuike Ihejirika, Chief Of Army Staff from 2010 - 2014. When Nigeria was in its early stage of Insecurity, General Ihejirika was dropping scores like mad. I mean the man was going into their hideouts to kill the bløod suckers. Most leaders in the North went crazy. A full blown smear campaign was rolled out against Azubuike Ihejirika. They scrutinized him like no other. They Harrassed him like no other. They accused him like no other. They heaped allegations upon allegations, all baseless. Jonathan appointed four service Chiefs but the ONLY person catching fire from all corners was General Azubuike. Arewa Consultative Forum dished out a daily barage of attacks. Bornu Elders lashed out. Seeing how he was k1lling Terrorists, they accused him of harboring revenge from the Civil War. Some even accused him of "Genocide". When none of this worked, they hit him with "Terrorism sponsoring". There is nothing they did not do to this man. They forced him out. 15yrs later "Prodigal Sons" are killing Generals. The brothers of the "Prodigal Sons" were enraged because General Ihejirika was killing too many Prodigal sons.

You do not represent Nigerian students. You represent whoever put that cap on your head. Nigerian students are not blind to what you are, and history will not be kind to those who traded the welfare of millions for personal access to power. NANS Has Become a Disgrace to Nigerian Students There is something insulting about watching the President of the so called National Association of Nigerian Students stand before cameras, donning an APC-branded cap, and singing praises of an administration that has made student life unbearable. It is not even surprising. It is, exactly what we expect from an association that has long abandoned its mandate and surrendered its soul to political paymasters. When a student leader speaks in glowing terms about a government while wearing the ruling party's colours, he is not speaking for students. He is speaking for whoever funded his trip, his cap, and definitely, his position. This is the face of the modern NANS, a political errand boy dressed in student clothing. "We the Nigerian Students have never had it so good like the way we have it under President Tinubu." LEMAAOOO!! This isn't just laughable, it is a deliberate slap in the face of every student struggling to survive in this country today. Let us examine the reality these leaders are too comfortable to acknowledge: 1. Tuition fees have skyrocketed. Universities across Nigeria have implemented massive fee hikes, with some institutions multiplying their charges severalfold — all under the banner of "go and collect NELFUND." Students are being pushed into a debt cycle before they even enter the labour market, a market that has nothing to offer them anyway. NELFUND, rather than being a genuine relief, has become a convenient justification for the systematic defunding of public education. 2. Education subsidies have been gutted. The removal of subsidies has transferred the full burden of education costs onto families already crushed by inflation, a collapsed naira, and the devastating aftermath of fuel subsidy removal. A student's parent who used to spend a manageable amount per session is now spending multiples of that — if they can at all. 3. Students cannot afford basic necessities. Food costs have doubled and tripled. Accommodation, once a basic student right, is now a luxury. Hostel fees have risen beyond the reach of many. Those who manage to secure a room off-campus face electricity bills that consume whatever little they have. Students are going to bed hungry in a country whose government officials cannot stop celebrating their own achievements. 4. Kidnapping, insecurity, and violence are ravaging campuses and the roads students travel. Nigerian students are being abducted. Some are killed. Lives are destroyed. And from NANS? Silence. Not a press release. Not a protest. Not a candle. Nothing. Because their paymasters do not fund statements that embarrass the administration. 5. NANS has not produced a single meaningful initiative in over a decade. No credible welfare programme. No legal advocacy. No successful push for student representation in policy-making. They do not negotiate for students, they negotiate with politicians, for themselves. They show up at rallies, issue endorsements, and collect the rewards. The association has become a conveyor belt for political patronage, recycling compromised leadership every cycle. The tragedy is that NANS was once feared. It was once a voice. Under genuine student leaders, it shut down governments, forced policy reversals, and made those in power remember that the youth of this country were watching. That NANS is dead. What remains is a hollow shell, a group of political foot soldiers who wear student identity as a costume when it suits their ambitions. In a way, I still think NANS has not fallen, it was sold. And the receipt is that APC cap. Rubb!sh
