One important aspect of Signal Theory is the comparison of the separation of concerns, and the separation of powers. Ruleset = legislative Index = judiciary Product = executive This is a formal recognition of something inherent to Bitmap and databases in general. The product has ultimate sovereignty over what happens on their system. Rulesets can only be proposed, never imposed on products, and indexes can ask be checked against ruleset. These are the final three aspects of the original TRIP theory (Theory, Ruleset, Index, Product), in the gitbook.bitmap.land, but it's only through the signal standard that I made the connection to the separation of powers when studying statehood. Very important for a burgeoning network state! 🟧

Interesting... I think @Switch_900 has possibly a better technical solution to @rodarmor's, which he's using in his protocol. A way to"reinscribe" something related to an inscription, without it being labelled as an inscription. It's better because you don't get child junk inscriptions or visible reinscriptions, but it's still reasonable through tx recursion. Switch can explain it better than me though. We considered it for Signal. We considered putting it down to vote... Literally the highest system signal becomes the system. But I went with metadata as it's the most accessible through recursion right now. I'm open to alternative solutions. It's impossible to know @rodarmor's timeline on notes. It will obviously become more difficult to implement changes when it releases, but we can use the signal for the collective to opt into this possibly later, if it proves to me more useful. Probably just a -hide flag would be much more useful for our use-case. It's interesting that Casey is proposing children because that creates independent inscriptions, as oppose to reinscriptions which are closer to appending... It's how Termina appends. Maybe both options or all options could be useful. I won't delay the launch because metadata works, but maybe we can vote on it later.
