@BrandoAKing I think it’s the: —Had a better season and postseason —Won the SECT (and didn’t play Wednesday morning) —Had arguably the best player in the country —Have one of the best recruiting classes in the country —HC doesn’t seem completely overwhelmed

@HogStats That’s it. And it’s what the hand-wringers regarding his defense are missing. He isn’t just great, offensively. He’s ridiculous. The detractors see him as Trae Young, but don’t realize he’s so much more efficient and absolutely controls the game while also keeping it moving.

Sometimes you’re like “damn college basketball has gotten so good. It’s so intricate. Furman is running UConn sets against UConn.” And then other times you watch a John Calipari team run offense.

@BarstoolBigCat Yes. Both on the last play and on the fouls. They didn’t make them run clock. Correct strategy on taking the fouls they had to give. Poor execution by giving them too quickly. It was driving Self crazy.

The fouling was smart basketball. The defense at the end was atrocious.

@therandomsec Desperate times call for desperate measures. They’ll spend. The question is whether they’ll spend it on the right guys. If I’m UK, there’s no way I’m breaking the bank for Stokes. Tons of red flags.
