[WOMEN FOUND] The two female targets residing at Ebony Park, Midrand, who were depicted in the circulating video clip, have been FOUND. During police observation, the said female targets were observed being collected by an African male driving a white VW Polo motor vehicle. The vehicle was subsequently intercepted in the vicinity of Kaalfontein. The two female targets were found inside the vehicle and were taken to Tembisa South SAPS.

[WANTED WOMEN] Two men aged 21 and 34 linked to firearms seen in a viral video circulating on social media in which women are seen recklessly and negligently handling firearms are arrested. The firearms seen in the video are unlicensed. They were also found in possession of a hijacked vehicle. The two men aged have been arrested for contravention of the Firearms Control Act, the illegal possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition, as well as being in possession of a hijacked motor vehicle. Police are continuing with investigations to trace the women seen in the video recklessly and negligently handling the firearms. The suspects are expected to appear before the Tembisa Magistrate's Court next week.

#sapsHQ A SAPS multidisciplinary team has this evening executed a J50 warrant of arrest and arrested a suspect for defeating the ends of justice. The case emanates from the alleged staging of an attempted assassination on the suspect’s life in Vosloorus. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the firearm used in the commission of the crime has also been linked to other serious and violent crimes, including cases of murder and attempted murder.
