@interesting_aIl A typical German roof lasts around 100 years. Maybe that’s something worth thinking about. Our farmhouse roof? Built in 1860 — still standing strong. Remind me again… when was the American Civil War? 🤔

Bant Mythic was about $1500, UW Control around 1000ish, and standard GPs had over 2000 players. FNM was pretty packed. It was the most expensive standard format and had very high attendance

Tbh the big issue with standard is that arena has cannibalized the local game store ecosystem, and I'm not sure that there is an easy way to fix this.

Berries can be frozen and eaten later, so can bread. If you're gonna throw out your deli meat after 3-5 days then why would you ever buy more than 3-5 days worth?

it's easy to laugh but no one is talking about how it's genuinely not possible to buy food for a single person and use it all before it goes bad

@FragmentedSand @melspepsi @vanillaopinions None of those go bad in 3 days, or really even a week. If you get so much it goes bad before you can eat it, then the only real solution is to get less so you can eat it before it goes bad. Pretty much everything lasts for at least a week in the fridge, idk where you got 3 days.

I bought my husband a new wallet probably 5 months ago. He has no desire to switch over to it yet. The left is his current wallet. My dad has done the same thing. Men, is this a universal thing? Do you have a hard time giving up the old, faithful, falling apart wallet? 😅

@SplashPlateVGC Seriously though, that Starmie is absolute Hell to defeat. Even if you have a Pikachu and an Oddish (FireRed) or Bellsprout (LeafGreen) Water Pulse KO's a lot of my team in One Hit. Starmie spams recover too.

Picking Charmander as a starter in Fire Red/Leaf Green means fighting for your life watching Starmie use Recover in front of Oddish over and over again whilst praying for a paralysis

What’s MTG's “fourth” format? Standard, Premodern, and Cube are pretty clearly the top 3 but the 4th is more ambiguous. I feel like the main contenders are probably Legacy, Pioneer, Kamigawa Block Pauper Tiny Leaders, or maybe Modern

@0xleegenz That’s the record they’re taking about. There is no record of that rent payment that they can pull on their own to verify.
