People ask me every year if I’ll continue the gift guide and I’ve just been too busy since starting The Kingcast and I wouldn’t want to half-ass it. I do miss doing it, hard work and all, so maybe next year I’ll take another stab at resurrecting it.

I guess someone left at AICN tried to do a new Holiday Gift Guide… just want to point out that’s not me nor my tastes. In fact it’s pretty embarrassing. Which is why I want to make sure there’s no confusion about who did it.

The night the entire wrestling landscape changed. Stone Cold comes out to the biggest pop EVER to help Mankind win the WWF title. A record-breaking number of people tuned in because Tony Schiavone spoiled the results during WCW Nitro. Simply perfect.

@StephenKing THE FIVE is amazing! I'd also suggest THE SCREAM by @YerPalSkipp & Craig Spector as a great rock 'n roll horror novel.

@FreddyInSpace It's the killer/slasher franchise that I think could benefit the most from the advances in technology and effects since the last entry. The possibilities for the portrayal of nightmares onscreen is staggering...yet here we are.

This also makes me sad, and it's entirely to do with the Elm Street franchise being dormant since a bad remake in 2010. Fifteen years ago. There are young horror fans today who have never even been exposed to a new Elm Street movie in their lifetime. Think about it! It's crazy!
