@Ultrawing_Vit @ROCKINHOPPER That’d be Gen 8. The last gen where Pokemon had as wide of move pools that they had. Endless possible combinations. Then they got soft and stripped a lot of unnecessary moves from Pokemon. Remember when Gyarados had Power Whip of all things??

@syramio @ROCKINHOPPER I lowkey hate how gamefreak limited a lot of Pokémon’s move pools in gen 9. Just randomly getting rid of moves from Pokemon they’ve had for a long time and makes since they still have it

@ROCKINHOPPER Toxic used to be a universal move before gen 9 butchered its distribution. Almost all pokemon could learn it. The same went for hidden power.(although this mkve got complitely removed in gen 8).
