@GloriousGod01 If you move just to figure it out, you are entering a high-risk zone. Predators and bad employers love plan-less migrants because they know you can't afford to say no to a bad deal. Building here while you have your sight is a thoughtful move.👍👍

My friend in the UK called me today and offered to fly me out. Visa money, flight money, everything covered. I said no. He told me there was no plan waiting for me there but that I could find a cleaning job or "at least escape Nigeria." I told him to send the money instead so I could put it into a business here. He was disappointed. That's his business. I have zero interest in relocating abroad without a plan. I am not leaving Nigeria to go and clean toilets in the UK because someone wants me to feel like I have arrived. That is not an upgrade. That is a relocation of suffering. I want to be established here, build something real, and then travel abroad on vacation as a man with options. Not as someone who fled. The only reason I would ever consider relocating is to make serious money, and even then, it must be a concrete plan. Not a cleaning job. Not a "you'll figure it out." Not a one-way ticket to survival mode in someone else's country. Japa without a plan is just poverty with a foreign accent. Nigeria has my frustrations but it also has my vision. I am staying. Above all, love God.

@ChisomAgbafor If you can't give money, give direction or dignity. But don't break the person's spirit, because a broken spirit is easy for an exploiter to possess. So either be the safety net, or try not to be the reason someone gives up and falls for a trap.

With the way things are going now, “begging” is becoming the last lifeline in Nigeria. They’ve borrowed. They’ve sold things. They’ve cut down their expenses. They’ve lost jobs. Then they finally reach out…and you start asking rubbish questions like: Don’t you have work? Where is your family? Why can’t you sort yourself out? You’re talking to someone who has already run out of options.

@eddie_wrt Xenophobia is a predator’s best friend. Turning on each other only leaves the door wide open for real criminals. By making migrants ghosts, you just make them easy targets for traffickers and kidnappers. A divided continent is an easy audit for predators.

“We don’t want Africans here anymore. We’re tired of seeing African migrants moving all over the world, refusing to fix their own countries. We’re making it clear: we don’t want you here. You know you’re visitors, yet you’ve decided to integrate into our communities. Can we come to Ghana and do what you’re doing?” - South Africans confront a Ghanaian migrant in South Africa

A Bible in a man’s hand is not a pass to trust him. Predators don’t always look scary, sometimes they look like men of God to make you feel safe.  And  If we are blinded by the title, we leave the door wide open for recruitment. A wolf in a suit is still a wolf.

@NigeriaStories If you see a colos spot, report it to your Community Chairman or your Neighborhood Watch and make it a hot zone. When those sellers know every eye is on them, their business becomes too risky to run. A neighborhood that watches together is a gate that stays closed.

@NigeriaStories They give a short window so we don't have time to think, only to panic. This is Artificial Urgency, the trick scammers use, but with lives at stake. If we let the clock control the conversation, they've already won. We fight by refusing to let their marketing dictate the strategy

@instablog9ja If they weren't caught, they would have disappeared halfway to Europe. In the middle of the ocean, if the crew finds them, they won’t give them a seat, they would just fix the problem by throwing it overboard.

Navy nabs three men who snuck into a ship in Lagos in an attempt to travel illegally to Europe The Nigerian Navy has rescued three individuals who hid on a merchant vessel in Lagos in an attempt to travel unlawfully to Europe. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the suspects were discovered on board the MSC STELLA (IMO No. 9279988) during a naval operation off the Lagos Fairway Buoy, carried out by personnel of Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) BEECROFT based on intelligence from the Western Regional Control Centre. According to Navy Capt. Abiodun Folorunsho, the alert was received at about 5:05 p.m. on April 19, prompting a Quick Response Team from Tarkwa Bay to intervene. The team located and rescued the individuals about five nautical miles off the Lagos coast. Investigations revealed they boarded the ship around 1 a.m. on April 17 while it was docked at Tin Can Island Port, Lagos, with plans to travel illegally to Europe. The suspects have been identified as Aguru Michael (27) from the Benin Republic, Soye Monday (25) from Ondo State, and Kentobou Peter (22) from Delta State.

After months of planning, she traveled to Nigeria for both traditional and court weddings. But things began to raise concerns. She says she paid for almost everything: Hotel accommodation Wedding preparations Flight tickets for his family Gifts and personal expenses Despite the expenses, the traditional wedding was suddenly cancelled, and they proceeded with a court wedding in Abuja. 💔 Just two days after the wedding, the man disappeared. Since then, all efforts to reach him have failed. Now she is demanding: ⚠️ Investigation ⚠️ Justice ⚠️ And a divorce The alleged guarantor for the court wedding has been invited to provide more information. Video 👉🏿 youtu.be/o9ehg0y4KVI

@ArcSadam If they can offer ₦15 million cash as a bribe on the side of the road, we can imagine the profit they make from one victim. It’s a high-revenue industry. They were definitely delivering inventory. Never sleep in a Keke. Your life is their payday.

THIS LADY WAS ALMOST KIDNAPPED BY THESE MEN. This woman entered keke -tricycle from a bus stop. After few minutes she slept off. People noticed they were driving into the bush and the woman looked unconscious. They stopped them, they said the woman was tired and they would drop her at her place. Unfortunately there were no houses, where they were going. They tried to bribe the people with 15 million but they refused. The woman came back to life and these men were arrested. These are their faces. If they could offer such amount of money to bribe ,they must have been doing it for a while. May God continue to expose them🙏🏻

@instablog9ja Price hikes like this act as invisible fences for the human trade. High-cost movement forces the illegal route to look like a solution. Exploiters thrive on 500% inflation, it’s the easiest way to push a desperate person into an unbranded car or a cheap lead that ends in a den

@winexviv People say students are dirty, but it’s deeper. Living over a sewer triggers survival mode. You stop cleaning because the system has already labeled you as waste. This mental rot is what exploiters hunt for...someone who has lost the will to demand better.

I think we will have to take up this UNN hostel matter. I’m aware that this year alone N100 billion was released to 40 federal universities for the purpose of hostels. The university also charges hostel fees. Our students can’t be living in conditions worse than prisons.

@SoEdunOkanESita Kidnappers are weaponizing our own registration systems against us. They call from registered SIMs because they know the tracking gap is wide enough to hide in. This a technical bypass of our security and a proof that the criminals are currently out-pacing the infrastructure.

My youngest sister has been kidnapped 💔! She was kidnapped on Monday, 13 April 2026, on her way to Abuja to report for duties from Ogun State. We have not gotten precise information about where the incident happened. She reached us briefly around 12.am Wednesday, 15 April 2026, that she has been kidnapped since on Monday without details of who kidnapped her, why, and where she is before the phone was taken from her. Now, they have been calling me until this moment demanding N100 million naira. Where do I raise 100 million naira? I can't even raise 100 thousand naira. They are calling me with registered numbers. Our preliminary findings have it that this happened in Kabba, Kogi State, Nigeria. I have been to three different police stations. One in Lagos and the two at Mowe and Redeemed Police stations. The police stations have no tracking system and that since there is no information about location, police said they can't work. I called police national PPRO. He said I should go and report it at the nearest police station after I had already reported. While trying to explain further, he ended the call and did not pick up my calls again until now. She remains in the harsh and harrowing den of the kidnappers until now. I do not want to lose my sister. She is a very young girl who is just starting life. Please rescue her alive, safely, and complete. @PoliceNG @HQNigerianArmy @PoliceNG_CRU @TunjiDisu1 @aleeygiwa @CspIniedu @NigAirForce @KogiPoliceNG @OfficialDSSNG @NuhuRibadu @officialABAT @aonanuga1956 @atiku @Brightgoldenboy @PeterObi @NGRPresident @NigeriaGov @BTOofficial @BolajiADC @davido @wizkidayo @DONJAZZY

NDLEA Intercepts C@caine Hidden in Food Flasks Bound for UK and C@nnabisconcealed in Snack packs Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted 12 large parcels of c@caine cleverly concealed in the false bottoms of food flasks destined for the United Kingdom. The ill#cit consignment, weighing 2.80 kilograms, was discovered on Thursday, April 9, 2026, by NDLEA officers attached to the export shed of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.  The dr¥gs were being prepared for shipment via a Virgin Atlantic flight. Two cargo agents, Ama Obinna Ufeim, 33, and Ogabi Monday Akorede, 39, were immediately arrested during the operation. Further investigations led to the arrest of the sender, 52-year-old freight and forwarding agent Agoro Tajudeen Moninuola, in a follow-up operation. In a separate operation at the airport’s import shed on Wednesday, April 8, NDLEA officers also intercepted a 2.90-kilogram consignment of Loud, a potent strain of cann@bis. The dr¥gs were hidden inside snack food packs and had arrived from the United States aboard a Delta Airlines flight. Two cargo clearing agents, Animashaun Moshood Adetunji and Mercy Gabriel Oluwasegun, were initially arrested in connection with the seizure. Authorities later tracked down the consignee, Saheed Adeshina Adegoke, a 29-year-old fashion designer, who was arrested during a follow-up raid at 3 Oba Ogunji Road, Ogba, Lagos, on Monday, April 13.

@instablog9ja They move c@caine in food flasks and humans in corporate dreams. It’s the same logistics. Look at the script. Cargo agents, false bottoms, fake labeling. Snack packs or Japa flights, it doesn't matter. You are just a container to them. If you aren't the shipper, you’re the cargo

@instablog9ja Distance doesn't open your eyes though, it just breaks your Stockholm Syndrome. But be careful, the world is full of saviors waiting to trade your Nigerian frustration for a different kind of cage. Desperation is a digital signal, and predators are the first ones to tune in.

Japa anger is real… but is it awareness or frustration?” 🇳🇬✈️😳 Online conversation sparks debate as many Nigerians abroad admit they became more angry about the state of the country after leaving, saying distance opened their eyes to how things really work. While some say it’s a deeper understanding, others argue anger alone doesn’t fix the system. Hmm… did relocating change your perspective too? 🤔👇
