@BlueProspects He has a defensive run value in the 90th percentile of all big league catchers. Maciver is indeed not better brother.

Blue Jays fans won’t want to hear this but Heineman is 100% staying with the big club once Kirk is healthy. Heineman is a fine catcher to play once a week and if you DFA him you’re a catching injury away from an awful awful tandem with the depth they have.
