Any Jew who was physically attacked, or whose business was targeted, should take Owen Jones & other hate-mongers to court. There were hundreds of violent cases across Britain last year. If only even half the victims sued those who incites - it would send a strong deterrent message. It’s the only way to fight the libels. Enough with words - we need actions.

Brilliant job as always, Natasha! Is there a legal way to stop the academia, NGOs and MSM from spreading libels? E.g. can Lancelot be sued for spreading hamas-fabricated death tall? Can NYT editors be sued for publishing images of ‘starving’ (in reality sick) children? Can professor be sued for calling for intifada? Can F.Albanese be sued for blood libels and can @BritishVogue be sued for profiling her as a ‘hero’? I don’t think we have any other options. I understand it’s difficult to prove defamation AND damage against a group - can it be addressed at individual level? E.g. what’s stopping Golders Green victims to take Owen Jones or Zarah Sultana to court for spreading hamas propaganda?

I think you can see Owen Jones almost hesitate before he makes the accusation that Israel “cooks children alive”, perhaps remembering he is simultaneously trying to prove he is not, in fact, a Hamas propaganda machine.
