@jimmysoldout Most people buy cause they want a fixed monthly payment over a long time horizon. Rent trickles up constantly over time. Your mortgage stays at a fixed cost, but obviously insurance, taxes and maintenance also goes up over time so just depends how long you want to stay in home.
