Lake Tahoe got about 4-6 inches of snow last week on the surrounding mountains and a dusting at lake level. Forecast is for up to 2 feet overnight tonight, with several inches at lake level. I drove over the summit last night between Carson City and Lake Tahoe around 10:30 pm. Close to "white out" levels of snowfall at 7000 feet. And that was just the prelude. Man-made climate change -- its going to kill us all unless old age gets us first .
