President Jimmy Carter devoted his life to public service. His work continued long after he left the White House. He built homes with Habitat for Humanity and championed human rights and social justice issues. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. My sympathy and prayers go out to the Carter family for a man who is being called our greatest ex-president.

I've been Coaching Varsity H.S. Baseball since 2007. Every year I notice the incoming freshmen know just a little less than the class they replaced. Lack of knowledge with base running, bunting, rundowns and basic pick offs are the biggest things we need to teach. Thoughts?
