@RenixVFX @insydium_ltd Hiya. Caching itself has little overhead, but obviously there's the underlying sim going on. If the sim is maxing out your gpu, and you're only running 1 graphics card, this could make doing other work difficult. Could you contact Tech Support with details so we can take a look?

@BobWalmsley @insydium_ltd Hey Bob! Curious about latest update caching. I’m running a 4090 with 128gb ddr5 and 32t cpu. But when caching it seems to completely slow down anything else. Is this normal behaviour? Or could there be a slider for system resources added?

Here's a NeXus fire sim using a spinning spline to sim from. It uses a setting called Motion Gap Fill which avoids stepping in the emission - also makes the motion inheritance from spline to fluid more accurate. Very low-res sim upscaled 4 times to 500m voxels. @insydium_ltd

Higher-res test of the new NeXus GPU tools for white water sims. This time the liquid particles are meshed and rendered with the surface foam. Massive batch of new liquids tools coming in this months INSYDIUM Fused update. A few hours left to snag it half price in the BF sale 👇

@msedov Thanks Mikhail! This is just a very low-res test featuring just surface foam particles. There’s also the option for spray and bubbles layers with loads of control.

Check out this INSYDIUM Tech-Preview. I walk you through the new NeXus Flip fluids and the new GPU mesher. Here's a nice viscous ribbon scene featured in the vid. Particle color is transferred into the mesh - looks pretty cool.

all of a sudden my Redshift menu disappeared even though it's checked in Preferences. Even after restarting. why why WHY.
