The media did not want to run into red state MAGA yokels asking where FEMA or the federal government was in a run up to the election. And it's still ended up costing them and Biden greatly. Again it's something I referred m to as a Chinese finger trap of election media. If they decide to cover bad news for Biden they think that it's positive for Trump. if they don't decide to cover something because it might hurt Biden it's positive for Trump. This is all avoided by simply telling the truth, no matter who it hurts or helps politically. But they simply just can't do that.
