In the Z community, strikes on Ukrainian substations are assessed as super-ineffective. They are considered strikes exclusively against civilians, since military enterprises and state enterprises are running on private generators. Because of the strikes on substations, civilians are freezing and civilians are losing power. These strikes serve no military purpose. They only turn the Ukrainian population against Russia.

@Bogdan_IR @WarMonitor3 Theoretically it is within Russian capabilities to do so. But it would likely require some limited mobilization, as much as 200k additional dead, and likely 1.5 to 2 years. Is Russia truly willing to pay that price?

@clement_molin For context, in Russia almost nobody respects Akhmat and its units. They are known for running away from positions and have earned the nickname “TikTok troops.”

Major clashes are taking place in the Northern Mali town of Anefis, as elements of the Malian Army and Russia’s Africa Corps attempt to defend against wave after wave of fighters with the Azawad Liberation Front (FLA). Russian and Malian positions are totally surrounded, with reinforcements, including helicopter gunship support, having between destroyed or turned back by attacks from the FLA.
