@KipHenley I will say this, I have played the game of golf for 52 years and have been a +2.4 handicap and when he initially approached his ball, he definitely stamped down on the rescue grass behind it. Say what you want, but watching the initial video, he improved his lie. No doubt!

@lisamurkowski Only democrats use the word disenfranchise. So that is the real reason you are not supporting the Save America Act.
English

I support voter ID and believe that only U.S. citizens should vote in our elections. But the SAVE America Act goes beyond that and provides no time for proper implementation. It would ultimately disenfranchise some Americans in rural communities, so I oppose it.

@HankHaney @brysondech C'mon man! If Dustin walked directly behind his ball and matted the grass directly behind his ball like Bryson did he would have had the same penalty. Bryson stood directly behind his ball and took multiple steps to flatten the ground. Dustin still had grass standing behind ball

The R & A opened up a huge can of worms yesterday with that ruling against @brysondech

But I have been reliably told for over twenty years that climate change was going to kill us all. How dare you share facts that call that into question?

Thankfully I have numbers rather than opinions. The average number of days per year in the U.S. reaching 95°F was ~18% lower during the 60-year period 1961 to 2020 compared to 1901 to 1960. The number of days reaching 100°F and 105°F have also declined since 1895.

@MarkCalc @brysondech No he does not! Geez, and you’ve been a professional golfer for like 40 years.
English

@Bogey7767Scott @brysondech How else u supposed to get in there. He has every right to get behind his ball to view the shot wether its fairway or 4 foot tall weeds
English

Maybe Trump can overturn this @brysondech bullshit like he did the red card
English

@TeeTimesPub Unfortunately, there is a "Before" your Before picture! He matted it down when he initially walked up to his ball!
English

@PaigeSpiranac He's good for golf but he 100% deserved the penalty!
English

@HankHaney For improving the clubs path from the ball and back to the ball by flattening the fescue grass directly behind his ball. Got it?
English

@peterjkostis @GolfChannel @peterjkostis Have you seen enough videos yet? When is your retraction coming?
English

Seriously? @GolfChannel ? Why should a player "graciously" accept a penalty that they honestly feel that they didn't deserve? If someone shows me a DEFINITIVE camera angle that showed his swing path was improved then there should be a penalty. But for a commentator to state that he definitely did improve his situation is , in my opinion, more about their personal opinion of Bryson than the facts. There is no down the line video that I have seen.
English

@KendoVT You are wrong, it doesn't matter if it was intentional or not.
English

@dannyeldergolf @JamesMelville Yes, this is the video that shows the infraction! 100% penalty!
English

@JamesMelville That’s not what the penalty was for, this is.
Have a look and see if you still think the same.
English

@MarkCalc @brysondech Stepping on the fescue grass directly behind his ball to flatten it is a penalty! Yes penalty @brysondech yes way!
