Prices rose just 5% after Argentina's win, and after a few hours are already back to just 3% above pre-match levels of around $7,300. @kapkap42 Spaniards seem to not be willing to pay that much for the final, as per the muted reaction of prices after they beat France. And now Argentinians are pretty hardcore fans, but that doesn’t mean their wallet can pay that price. I think securing a cat 2 ticket for 4K is feasible.

@kapkap42 Thanks for the work on TicketData. That plus other tools allowed me to secure Cat 2 tickets for the Spain vs France game in Dallas for $1k per seat. I do think prices for the Final will drop. The data is clear. Another FIFA LMS drop won’t help resellers either.

@CanadaTaxGuy But for an active business (I.e. something with an operation) I don’t see the benefit. Our corporate taxes are lower here in Canada, integration actually makes it easier to simply use holding companies. If you care about year to year profit/cash flow, I don’t see the advantage.

I did a deep dive on US domestic tax rules last week. Their tax system is so complicated but it’s unbelievable all the tax breaks they have. Especially with real estate.

I'm not built for keeping all this verbal code stuff in my brain. I want to do real things. Bitcoin is not real to me and as such it gives me just pain (constantly having to think about it) and no pleasure. 3. I make my money in business. I just need inflation protection. Bitcoin is too volatile and double-edged to do that. I'm better holding money in something much more conservative and letting my business do the high-upside stuff. The Fourteenth Amendment was written to overturn Dred Scott and guarantee citizenship to freed slaves—not to create automatic citizenship for the children of those who violate our immigration laws or are only temporarily in the United States. This decision will only invite further exploitation of our immigration system. The Court adopted an interpretation that departs from the original meaning of the Constitution and incentivizes illegal immigration. Congress retains the authority to clarify federal law, and it should act immediately to restore the original meaning of the Citizenship Clause and protect the integrity of American citizenship.
