my hairdresser told me that people have started coming in with ai generated pictures of themselves with hairstyles they want, and can't parse being told they're impossible (say, if their hairline doesn't match, or if they're balding) because they're so taken by their ai image

@IAm_Not_APerson @tristandross My coworker had a woman come in with her daughter and show her an AI-generated picture of one of those Pinterest type elaborate braids. The hair just did not line up at all. When she was told we couldn’t do it, the lady got mad and told her she wasn’t a good hairstylist then haha
