Not the same mold with 3-4 colored variants

Was literally about to make this post 😂 so I'll just leave it as a comment to yours: Now that the dust has settled, it's pretty clear that your opinion of Fundays this year probably depends on one thing: Was this your first Fundays? If it was, you likely had an incredible time. The atmosphere, the entertainment, and the food was a noticeable improvement over last year (which, to be fair, wasn't exactly a high bar). Between the Box of Fun and being surrounded by thousands of fellow collectors, it's easy to see why so many first-timers walked away impressed. For Fundays veterans, though, it's hard not to compare this year to previous ones. Recent Fundays set some incredibly high expectations. It became almost expected that you'd walk away with a prototype, and Prize Patrol often added to the excitement by handing out extra limited-edition Funko Pop! figures beyond what was already in your Box of Fun. Those surprise moments became part of what made Fundays feel so special. This year, that wasn't really the case. Prototypes were much harder to come by, and Prize Patrol wasn't handing out additional exclusives the way many attendees had become accustomed to. That doesn't make this year's event bad. It just makes it feel different if you've experienced what Fundays looked like over the last few years. At the end of the day, Funko may have become a victim of its own success. When every year raises the bar, eventually people start expecting the extraordinary to be the norm. That's a tough standard for any event to keep topping. Fundays 2026 was still a fun night filled with great memories and exclusive collectibles. Whether you walked away thinking it was amazing or feeling it didn't quite live up to previous years probably comes down to the expectations you brought with you.
