Mother Miriam caused an UPROAR by openly criticizing the Pope and his support of Muslims. "The embracing of Islam is NOT of God!" she exclaimed. Catholic leaders have shamed her for her comments. 🔻 Is she wrong for calling out the Pope on this issue?

The Albanese government has quietly imposed GST on aged-care living fees without public consultation, potentially hitting 100,000 elderly Australians with higher costs.
Ageing Australians will be vulnerable to higher retirement costs after the Albanese government quietly expanded the GST base to include optional living fees in aged-care homes, a move that could deliver up to $250m in extra revenue a year, and help pay off state governments exposed to rising NDIS and healthcare costs.
Labor used a ministerial determination, without any public consultation, that will leave additional aged-care living agreements without a GST exemption, potentially hitting more than 100,000 people in the next few years with higher costs.
The GST move emerged as the Albanese government scrapped the higher private health insurance rebate for over-65s as part of its management of the blowout in the $52bn National Disability Insurance Scheme.

We also explore growing concerns around global instability — including refinery fires and energy security — and what it could mean for Australia moving forward.
Beyond that, we unpack immigration — how it’s impacting housing, infrastructure, and the cost of living — and why it’s become a major issue heading into upcoming elections.
We also discuss the ASIO Amendment Bill 2026 and what it could mean for government powers, public trust, and everyday Australians.
