@PBaracchini @Blueliner112 Justin Holl would not be in the ECHL if he shot Left Handed. Can’t make a break out pass and might as well have been in the Panthers bench on that PK goal. You are taught in U10 hockey to not get outside the dots and protect the middle and then float to corner…he is trash

@Blueliner112 Don’t worry. I’ve criticized other players, not just Holl.
I want him to succeed, but when you’re on for 15 goals against and don’t have good awareness, that’s a problem. EVERYONE sees it. His track record isn’t great.

@BudsAllDayCast If there is anyone to worry about it’s Holl. His inability to make plays with the puck and blindly throwing it behind him will be very noticeable and likely cost the Leafs more so than either Schenn or Liligren

I'd probably rather play him but see the benefits of Schenn in game 1.
I'm just pointing out how much deeper our D is. TB have the best D man in Hedman, but our 2-7 guys are miles ahead.

The Leafs are debating whether to put Tim Liljegren in the playoff lineup because of his lack of experience.
The Lighting will be dressing 2 far worse players, with far less experience in their TOP FOUR.

@AHobsonMedia If Holl was a LH shot he couldn’t pay his way on to a men’s league team, puck decisions and rimming the puck at the NHL level is atrocious. Lily has been bad I don’t disagree but you can’t have 55 and 3 on the ice together against teams that can skate.

The fact that a high-skill, consistently good team is incapable of drawing penalties for this long is funny enough, but what makes it even better is the fact that this team is also the one most accused of being getting preferential treatment, including by opposing coaches.
